A federal statement announcing Jeffrey Epstein's death has surfaced in newly released Justice Department files but it carries a date that appears to precede the moment he was officially found dead inside his New York prison cell.
The document, issued by the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and dated Friday, August 9, 2019, states that Epstein had already been found unresponsive and pronounced dead.
But prison records and official accounts show Epstein was not discovered unresponsive until the morning of August 10, 2019, when a corrections officer delivering breakfast found him in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.

So the released official statement was correct on the date.
Everyone is getting in a tizzy of a draft statement THAT WAS NOT RELEASED.
So on Saturday morning, some staff person initially put in the wrong date in (a Friday instead of a Saturday) for the release.
Perhaps a ‘cut and paste error’ ?
The date in question is in the ‘header area’, not in the ‘body’.
So a common error is to pull an older file, replace the body of the text, and send it to the bosses for proofreading.
Proofreading caught the date error - oh, you forgot to fix the date - and the correct document was released.
Sigh.
Anyone got any meaningful to talk about?
When he didn’t allow questioning of the election steal, it confirmed my suspicions he was inserted into the administration by the deep state. So, why did they need to 86 Epstein? Who needed protection the most?

The internet is full of people who have used a template in the office and/or have never made a mistake in their lives. (I am referring to the obvious clerical error on this, not the overriding crimes.). They must be horrible to be around.
Bill Barr has always done what he was and is told to do. He is one of “Them.”
There’s no such thing as the perfect crime.
You presume all these coincidences that left Epstein exposed alone with no witnesses and no evidence were just a wildly improbable but totally real thing that happened. Most of us do not. And in that case, of course nobody gets punished.

The guards were punished. They copped pleas and served mostly community service. The lax monitoring was just plain SOP there.

Trump meant his death was a hoax.
Dick Tracy and Batman both used to say that. But the perfect crime would never be discovered. Who killed Jimmy Hoffa, for example. At this point, what difference does it make. He’s dead, too, by now, and they never found Hoffa’s body. But wait. Maybe Hoffa faked his death and is lounging around on a beach somewhere. AYFKM? He’s dead by now, too, even if he did fake his death and skedaddle. Perfect crime.
So, too, with Adolf Hitler, Joseph Mangele, Martin Borman. Either known to be dead, or died while in hiding. Jeffrey Epstein, however, might still be alive if he faked his own death. But his lust for underage girls would either have to be belayed, or he’d have to find a discreet way to to carry on carrying on, until he’s carryon.

Since we know that no one ever gets a date wrong.
Nobody thinks community service is punishment for negligence of that nature.
