AG Paxton files lawsuit against Delaware nurse practitioner accused of shipping abortion pills into Texas

TEXAS – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against Debra Lynch, a Delaware-based nurse practitioner who runs Her Safe Harbor, an organization accused of shipping abortion-inducing drugs into Texas in violation of state law.

According to the lawsuit, Her Safe Harbor routinely sends mifepristone and misoprostol across state lines. The organization advertises abortion pills by mail and promises delivery to Texas within days.

Lynch reportedly acknowledged that she and her staff “mail a lot [of abortion drugs] to Texas,” mentioning cities including Houston, Tomball, Fulshear, Beaumont, El Paso and other major cities.

The legal action comes after two recent cases in Texas in which abortion drugs were misused.

One lawsuit alleges that a man obtained the drugs illegally and used them to secretly poison his girlfriend, causing the loss of her unborn child and hospitalization.

“The day of reckoning for this radical out-of-state abortion drug trafficker is here,” Paxton said. “No one, regardless of where they live, will be freely allowed to aid in the murder of unborn children in Texas.”

Paxton has also taken action against Plan C and Coeytaux, ordering all three organizations to immediately stop promoting, selling, or shipping abortion drugs to Texas residents. Failure to comply could result in lawsuits and civil penalties of at least $100,000 per violation.

Nurse practitioner Debra Lynch writes a note Dec. 5, 2024, to go into a packet of abortion medications that will be mailed to a patient of Delaware-based telehealth provider Her Safe Harbor. Each package includes the two-medication abortion regimen, plus ibuprofen and an anti-nausea medication to help patients as they terminate a pregnancy at home. (Bridget Grumet/American-Statesman)

Too long has the left had free reign because no one in power steps up. For the left their ends justify any means, any collateral damage.
I’m proud of each and every patriot who holds them to account.

I am so proud of Texas for doing this. That state has decided to be pro life and take no crap from the abortionist no matter what.

If residents of a state such as Delaware can send items to another state where those items are illegal, then anyone can send firearms, regular-sized magazines, suppressors, alcohol, cigarettes, fireworks, catalytic converter bypass pipes, etc. to ANY states, and send them to minors as well.

States like California, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois can be flooded with all of it.

if she’s not licensed in Texas, she is not allowed to practice medicine there. Nothing unusual or special or in any way discriminatory here.

From what I understand, it's illegal to mail a bottle of whiskey from Delaware to Texas. You have to buy it at a liquor store in Texas.

So this is similar to alcohol.
