RIP ma’am, yo were a funny funny lady. 🙏
Aww...sad. She was very funny.
“I want to haaave your baaybeee!”
Canada produced some of the best comedians in the 70s and 80s.
One of the greatest Comedians...SCTV was pure gold and she was a big reason why.
SCTV was where I first knew her. That show was wonderful!
Guys, she may not be dead, just yet.
She was great on SCTV
This is a shock. She was so funny in pretty much every movie and show that she was in. Especially on SCTV. Its hard to choose my favorite O’Hara performance, but the one that made me laugh the hardest was her and John Candy in Yellowbelly - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPY-I-vn8Bc. Rest in Peace, Ms. O’Hara.
I used to watch her on SCTV, part of a great cast.
RIP.
“These... are songs?”
Ahhh. Loved her work.
Second City TV was a fantastic incubator.
She, Eugene Levy, Richard Morenes, John Candy, Joe Flaherty, Harold Ramis.
Legend.
First saw her on SCTV as a kid. There were rumors SCTV might replace Saturday Night Live around 1979-80. She was funnier than most of the SNL cast members that came and went until the ‘86 season. She had a long career but passed much too soon.
Google the Schitt’s Creek “fold in the cheese” scene with her and David Levy. Comedy gold.
RIP
Saw her in a lot of things, she was always good. I especially remember her in Scorcese’s rather obscure comedy “After Hours” (1985) in which she leads a vigilante mob while driving a Mister Softee ice cream truck.
She was a wonderful actress and comedienne, and so very good in so many things, but to me she will always be Kevin’s Mom (Home Alone).
We just watched, “A Mighty Wind” over Xmas. She was so good in that. Well, in everything.
My favorite COH film is “After Hours” - directed by Martin Scorsese and HUGELY underrated.
COH plays a Mr Softee driver with a stellar cast including the late great Teri Garr.

She was a comedy legend. Her best work was….well, everything. Loved her in SCTV especially
