There's nothing untoward about needing a wheelchair to get around.

My wife needs a wheelchair and uses it both inside and outside the house to get around.

But she's only 70 and has cancer.

So let's talk about McConnell's age (83), or his health (polio, etc.), but getting wheeled into the chamber for an important vote per se is not germane.

yes, senators had been wheeled into senate long before Mitch was.
With IV’s and breathing machines.
In senate, you have to be physically present for a vote. No excuses, zoom, no mail in’s.

I hope the same will be sometime applicable to general elections.
