Waffle House locations across the South locked their doors in a rare move as a monster winter storm threatens much of the country this weekend — a stark warning of the havoc to come.
The 24-hour Southern breakfast chain, famous for rarely closing in bad weather, shut down its griddles as locations in South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Mississippi went into a “Code Red” Saturday as Winter Storm Fern barrels across the Midwest and East Coast, multiple outlets reported.
In South Carolina — where the incoming system has prompted its first ice storm warning since 2005 — Waffle House employees signaled widespread closures across the Palmetto State, The Post & Courier reported.

Central TX is covered in the worst 1/4” of snow ever. Everyone is stocking up on toilet paper due to the strange snow induced diarrhea symptom which seems to occur with snow or ice.
Politicians are being criticized for not delivering toilet paper and bread to people who can’t maintain a 4 day supply.
You mileage may vary.🤪
For the time being you may just have to be satisfied by videos of Mickey D’s being torn up because someone (or something) did not get their order right.

Our Walmart is cleaned out. Not bad for people who don’t have any money except for Concerts, Sporting Events, new SUVs, luxury Pickups and Caribbean Cruises with Disney.

Sounds similar to the apocalyptic dusting we got here in eastern TN.
-5 this morning at the mansion. A light dusting of snow is all. Everything went south and east.
I’m not braggin’ either. It’s 16° here in Texas right now but it will be in the high 80s in “fifteen minutes.”
If they’ll brawl on a cruise or at Water parks they’ll do it anywhere.
No more eggs over greasy for you!
