Pity that no one in that audience had a phaser set to kill.

So the real question - which one would Capt. Kirk bang?
Time for a new creation - this one is a dead horse...

I longed for a Star Fleet Academy series after TNG. Never happened. Now with all of the entitled wokeness, it is too late. I don’t want to live in that future. I tried to watch it. Can’t. It was AWFUL. Bye!

There’s no comparison between the thoughtfulness and originality of Star Trek TOS and most of the dreck that came after.
The original - and the movies - are like the original ‘Twilight Zone’: you can watch the episodes over and over and still be engaged. The themes are timeless.
I couldn’t even watch this new stuff as a failed attempt at satire.

Real hollyweird. A fingernails on a chalk board voice annoying as hell smug empty skinny a@@ lesbo puts down a much brighter “cadet”... because she can— and no doubt because she had done absolutely nothing in combat. At “star fleet” academy. What absolute horsecrap— even more massaged and crap washed narrative following the great tee-vee mental cases attention span since Roddenbery’s original voyage to the bottom of dumba@@es “warfare” fantasy. Quoting Oscar Wilde no less— looney tunes.

When I’m watching older TV programs I can always spot an actor that was in a TOS episode.

Is this now the 5th sequel of Star Trek?
The original Star Trek was fun to watch.
The first sequel was watchable.
After that, I could not watch anymore.
