A fight over an Alabama woman's mother allegedly being 'disrespected' ended with two people shot to death at a wake, according to police.
Jasmine Allen, 35, has been charged with capital murder in the deaths of her great‑uncle, 76‑year‑old Carlton Rufus Allen, and her uncle, 43‑year‑old father‑of‑seven Sonny Arrington.
She is also charged with attempted murder for shooting her sister, Jasmine Ross, who survived a gunshot wound to the leg.
Detectives said Allen and her daughter had arrived at the apartment earlier that evening in a Lyft to join relatives gathering at her mother's home in the Tuxedo Terrace complex in Ensley.
The family had spent the day mourning Ja'Oree Marquel Brown‑Allen, who was shot and killed a week earlier in Fairfield.
Investigators said Allen fired 10 shots through the closed front door of the apartment just before 11.30pm on December 6, while family members were inside eating after the funeral.
When police arrived, the door was riddled with bullet holes, and Arrington and Carlton Allen were found dead in the hallway, both shot multiple times.

Yup.
This whole freedom thing just isn’t working out for some people.
It’s almost like an ambulance service should station an ambulance at a black funeral.
... or so it seems.
The closest to that I ever saw was at a relative’s wedding.
The mother of the bride was on her second marriage but the bride’s father was from the first marriage.
Both husband 1 and husband 2 were invited to the wedding.
Husband 2 was the crazy one—went ballistic when he saw husband 1 and started chasing the guy and cursing at him.
I was almost certain it was going to come to blows—but the mother caught up to them and stood in between them.
It worked.
They both calmed down.
Wild!
Yep.
I agree.
Yep, it’s them again.
She strawberry blonde! 😆
Just to let everyone know, law enforcement has arrested the woman suspected of killing Ja’Oree Marquel Brown-Allen .
Woman facing murder charges after man shot, killed in Fairfield
When “LiveLeak” used to be a thing, I swear there was a video every month of someone ending up dead after a Black woman was “offended” or “disrespected.”
Remembering Scott Adams...
Jasmine (Allen) has a sister named Jasmine (Ross).
Hey, man, you talkin’ back to me?
Take him out (you gotta keep ‘em separated)
Hey, man, you disrespecting me?
Take him out (you gotta keep ‘em separated)
Hey, they don’t pay no mind
If you’re under 18 you won’t be doing any time
Hey, come out and play
It would seem the moat efficient place to be dead.
I worked around my share of black females in my almost 40 years in the workforce and several times I had one threaten me with physical violence.
It used to tick me off to see black men gravitate to White females.....but having had the experiences I’ve had with black females I get it......nobody wants to wake up with a steak knife sticking out of their chest. 😏
Only the American-Irish know how to throw a good wake. Any fighting is reserved for at least a week or two later.
George Forman had 5 sons.....named ‘em all George.
“...unfortunately what they don’t understand is respect
has to be earned, not given by default.”
That is not true, and I hear that all the time. One should have respect for people as a default until proven otherwise. You go around all the time being disrespectful, one of these days you won’t make it home.
Reminds me of that guy who disrespected Trump at the Ford plant. He thinks he is Mr. Big because he disrespected Trump almost to his face. He thinks he is honored to do so, but he is a classless idiot.
People can be respected and that alone triggers disrespect with some people.
George Washington was loved by the American people, but the press at that time contorted their brains trying to find out wsys to insult him.
