US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arrested a 39-year-old Afghan national who was previously convicted of attempting to murder his teenage sister in what was described as an "honor" attack. Waheed Allah Mohammad was taken into custody on January 1 in Rochester, New York. According to ICE, the incident occurred in 2008 when Mohammed stabbed his then-19-year-old sister multiple times during a heated argument.
Mohammad reportedly called his sister a "bad Muslim girl" and accused her of disgracing the family by dressing immodestly and frequenting nightclubs and dance clubs. "This criminal illegal alien tried to kill his own sister," said ICE Director Todd Lyons in a press release. "A court convicted him of first-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault, then sentenced him to 10 years in prison and five years of supervision. When we say ICE is arresting the 'worst of the worst,' this is exactly what we mean. We're conducting targeted enforcement operations to arrest and remove convicted criminals like Mohammad who pose clear threats to their families, communities and states."
Mohammad entered the US lawfully in 2004; however, his conviction rendered him removable from the country. He was convicted on February 6, 2009, in the state of New York. On May 31, 2012, a Justice Department immigration judge ordered Mohammad deported from the US. ICE Buffalo officers arrived for him last week in Rochester and he will remain in ICE custody pending removal from the US.
"Waheed Allah Mohammad was given a golden opportunity to lawfully reside in the United States, but instead of making the most of his American dream, he decided to break our laws by violently attacking his own sister," said ICE ERO Buffalo acting Field Office Director Tammy Marich. "As a convicted violent offender, Mohammad represents the worst of the worst and is exactly the kind of alien that ICE Buffalo seeks to remove from our New York neighborhoods. ICE Buffalo will continue to prioritize the safety of our American communities by arresting and removing criminal alien offenders from our streets."

> convicted of attempting to murder his teenage sister
Feminists will demand his release.
Eighteen years between the crime and the conviction? Really?
Sending him back to Afghanistan is worse.

He stabbed his sister in 2008, convicted of attempted murder in 2009 and sentenced to 10 years in state prison. In 2012 a justice department judge issued a deportation order. ICE arrested him last week. Yeah a few things missing, Did he serve the full 10 years or did he get out early (this is New York after all)? Why did ICE wait 12+ years do actually take him into custody for deportation? Obama, Biden, New York “sanctuary” status?
To paraphrase a president: ‘He was doing a job normal Americans wouldn’t do!’ ๐
ORDERED OUT IN 2012????
STILL HERE IN 2026.????
VERY SLOW JUSTICE
