According to a new report, three physicians in Minnesota each committed more than 1,000 abortions in 2024, working out to more than four abortions per weekday, and over 80 a month. In addition, the majority of abortions committed in the state in 2024 were carried out at Planned Parenthood centers.
Key Takeaways:
* In 2024, 13,729 abortions were committed in Minnesota.
* Three doctors committed more than 1,000 abortions each.
* Planned Parenthood committed the majority of abortions in the state, at 8,052.
* At least 243 abortions were committed in MN after 20 weeks, despite the fact that babies as young as 21 weeks gestation have survived with proper medical care.
* In 2024, 233 doctors committed at least one abortion each, with only three abortions listed as committed by specialists in "emergency medicine."
* Seven of the abortions were listed as "intra-uterine instillation," a procedure proven to be extremely dangerous for women and rarely practiced today.
The Details:
According to a new report from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), three Minnesota doctors were responsible for more than 3,200 of the abortions in the state in 2024.
That year, 13,729 abortions were committed in the state. Three physicians committed over 1,000 abortions each:
"Physician H": 1,204 abortions
"Physician C": 1,072 abortions
"Physician CC": 1,055 abortions
These numbers average more than four abortions per weekday — or more than 80 per month — in 2024 for each doctor, with Physician H committing nearly five abortions per weekday and 100 abortions each month. Only three of all 13,729 abortions were categorized as having been committed by "emergency medicine" specialists.
In addition, Planned Parenthood committed nearly 60% (58.65%) of all abortions in Minnesota, carrying out 8,052 in 2024. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood Minnesota has been at the center of recent complaints from staff who call management "really toxic," say they are pressured to see as many patients as possible as quickly as possible, and say that the work environment is "disrespectful and chaotic."
Six other abortion facilities were listed in the report, including the two with the second and third most abortions: Whole Woman's Health, LLC (1,812 abortions) and Red River Women's Clinic (1,163 abortions). Whole Woman's Health is a franchise with a history of failed inspections.
Zoom In:
State law ensures abortion facilities report certain statistics to MDH each year, but in 2023, pro-abortion politicians in the state removed some of the reporting requirements.
The report no longer includes the reason for an abortion, the survival status of an aborted baby, or what happened to those born alive during abortions.
A study published in December 2025 analyzed "all infants born at 21 weeks’ gestational age in a single-center level IV academic neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the University of Iowa from January 1, 2020, through February 28, 2025." The total number of babies born at this age was 22; resuscitation was attempted on 17 of those babies, and 35% (six) of those babies reportedly survived to discharge from the NICU. This information is striking when considering the abortion report, which states that 5,190 of the babies in Minnesota were aborted by "Medical: Other medication (includes labor induction)," which may increase the chances of live birth.
It is unclear whether the babies in this category were targeted for intentional death or simply had to be delivered early (which is a dishonest way to define "abortion," typically understood to have the goal of prenatal death). Nonetheless, it remains unknown how many of those 5000+ babies survived labor induction later in pregnancy, if any.
Seven abortions in the state were categorized as intra-uterine instillation, which is defined as a "mid-trimester" abortion procedure carried out by injecting a chemical solution, such as hypertonic saline, urea, or prostaglandins, into the amniotic sac to cause uterine contractions and expel the baby. This procedure was once a more common method of induced abortion; however, today, it is rare (and shocking) when it is used.
The procedure often requires hospitalization, and is carried out similarly to labor induction. But there are significant risks for the mothers:
Saline abortions carry the risks of maternal poisoning, seizures, severe hemorrhage, renal failure, cerebral/pulmonary edema, uterine rupture, infection, and death due to imbalances in salt.
Urea abortions carry the risk of electrolyte imbalances, nausea, headache, severe cramping (especially if it accidentally enters the bloodstream), maternal poisoning, seizures, and clotting issues.
Prostaglandin abortions are considered the least risky of the three, but they still carry the risk of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, chills, and intense uterine cramps that could cause excessive bleeding and lead to the need for a surgical abortion. There is also the risk of uterine rupture, infection, and death.

The Bottom Line:
Minnesota protects abortion as a right in its state constitution, codified into law in the 2023 Protect Reproductive Options (PRO) Act.
Abortion is allowed in the state at any point in pregnancy, and laws allow Medicaid to cover abortion while ensuring the protection of abortionists who carry out abortions on out-of-state women (shield laws). While the state protects abortion, it completely fails to protect preborn children and women.
Abortionists are clearly profiting in Minnesota amid dangerous practices and staff complaints of toxic environments.
Yes it's very possible those doctors did that many abortions however this is in Minnesota which has had scam after scam lately.
Also I looked it up Minnesota's Medicaid (Medical Assistance) and MinnesotaCare programs cover abortion services.
I'm wondering how many of those Butchers who call themselves Doctors are Somali?
I'm wondering if this is the next fraud about to be uncovered?
In a way I hope I'm correct that means babies didn't die but that means millions, perhaps billions were stolen.

Islam prohibits abortions as you’ve cited. But not surprised about Minnesota as a whole. VP Kamala Harris and Gov Walz toured a (really supersized!) Planned Parenthood there while campaigning. The head doctor who greeted then was so pretty and young…
Such a shame.
All good points.
“I’m wondering if this is the next fraud about to be uncovered?”
And it could be that they’re taking in money for doing abortions, and not doing ANY abortions (or stealing babies). That would be a good-news-bad-news thing.
Bad: Stealing taxpayer money.
Good: Babies aren’t dying.
So that’s what they spent all that time in medical school for?
Average of four abortions per day per doctor for a year without any PTO? There has to be some fraud in there.
Just a minute. Fraud? In Minnesota? That's a new one. /S
Apparently so. It’s disgraceful
Apparently someone has to think for the gov’t Justice types.
“And it could be that they’re taking in money for doing abortions, and not doing ANY abortions (or stealing babies). That would be a good-news-bad-news thing.”
Well yes and no.
Carol Everett, former clinic owner now pro life speaker talked about a trick her clinics did until they were caught.
The clinic worker would tell a woman she had a false positive on her pregnancy test. Even put her on the table and do a sonogram and say “Here you are pregnant” by finding a small dot in her uterus. Which any dot can be found on any woman’s uterus. So they’d ask if she wanted an abortion and if she did they did one on her. Basically they are just doing a D & C, scraping bits of lining off the uterine walls but the woman thinks she really had an abortion.
How Everett’s clinic was caught is news reporters came in who had pregnancy tested confirmed by blood test by a prior doctor. The news reporter was told she was pregnant by Everett’s clinic and they tried to sell her an abortion during under cover story.
Good catch
Correction. It was before the campaign. A foreshadowing of sorts:
