Here’s a clear, sourced summary of the organizations and groups identified as leading or involved in the Minneapolis “ICE resistance” movement (largely in response to federal ICE enforcement actions and the fatal shooting of a local activist):
⸻
1) Indivisible Twin Cities • A local chapter of the national Indivisible Project — a progressive activist network originally formed after the 2016 election. • Reportedly a key organizer of anti-ICE demonstrations in Minneapolis, including resistance to enforcement actions and broader calls to end ICE operations locally.
2) ICE Watch / Minnesota ICE Watch • A local activist network focused on monitoring and responding to ICE raids — issuing alerts, documenting federal activity, and organizing community rapid response. • Minnesota ICE Watch has been identified as promoting direct resistance tactics and quick mobilization when ICE is active.
3) Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) – Minnesota • The Minnesota chapter of CAIR has participated in public demonstrations and commentary on ICE enforcement, especially after the fatal shooting. • Leaders have disputed official accounts of the incident and framed it as state violence against communities.
4) Immigrant Defense Network • A local group organizing legal support and advocacy for immigrants facing enforcement actions. • Leaders have been vocal in resisting increased federal immigration operations and coordinating community support.
5) Grassroots Coalitions and Broader Networks
Many of the protests and resistance efforts are not driven by a single organization but by coalitions of groups with overlapping missions: • ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) — national civil liberties advocacy group, coordinating broader protest participation. • 50501 Movement — a progressive activist group involved in planning nationwide demonstrations under the “ICE Out for Good” banner. • 50501 Twin Cities / local chapters — regional offshoots active in local protest mobilization.
6) Additional Progressive / Left-Aligned Supporters
While not always central organizers, several activist or left-progressive groups are reported to be supporting or mobilizing in solidarity — particularly at coordinated national protests connected to Minneapolis: • Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) — local chapters participating in allied demonstrations. • Party for Socialism and Liberation and other far-left advocacy groups have joined protests in multiple cities including Minneapolis.
(These broader coalition groups are more evident in national protests reacting to the Minneapolis incident than in strictly local organizing.)
⸻
Context and Dynamics • The resistance movement in Minneapolis is part of wider national protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions following enforcement surges in multiple cities. • Local organizations often emphasize community safety, legal support, and policy change, while broader coalitions provide logistics, advocacy platforms, or national coordination.
⸻
Notes on Coverage and Sources • Reporting on who is “behind” the movement varies considerably by source. Conservative outlets emphasize left-wing activists and progressive funding; other outlets distinguish between civil liberties advocacy and grassroots immigrant defense work. • The landscape continues to develop rapidly as protests and responses evolve nationwide and locally.

They all should be subject to RICO and insurrection prosecutions—as organizations and for individual decision makers/leaders.
Have not seen as much pantifa activity this time. Wonder if they are lying glow in fear.
Is not Ice Watch what Renee Good belonged to?
You may want to add MN and FED govt employees to your list of organizations.
Here is one of the MN govt employees who was reported as being involved with ICE Watch.
Below is my posting from another FR thread-—
“”””“County worker Kristin Peter, 30, who was also at the vigil, said Renee was on the same ICE Watch team as one of her coworkers, and that she herself was attending a meeting of the group Thursday night.””””

where does the money for those orgainizations come from?
Great post, thanks!
These people are Antifa, and BLM, and Occupy/Black Bloc et al. No matter how many individual fronts they put up to enhance recruitment and confuse the gullible, they are one - the Communist International. Their tactics are right out of the Leninist/Cultural Marxist/Alinsky handbook, and their aim is the same as always - advance the Revolution.
The lady who was killed was the 1st car, 1st driver in a string of cars exercising their free speech.
It is not coincidence that she was the first car. She was a trained professional activist who knew exactly what was her mission.
Her mission was to change the narrative, change the headline.
WELFARE FRAUD, POLITICAL CORRUPTION were not winning headlines for the movement. 37 YEAR OLD MOM KILLED is a winning headline.
Her sole goal was to change the headline. Change the narrative. Mission Accomplished.
Side benefit, she is as famous as George Floyd.
She has shown the value of lesbians in the movement and raised their value.
The ICE clearly are not properly trained and have no clue what war they are in.
And Indivisible
Should be tweeted on X
Thanks.
And of course this is the George Floyd riot network redeployed. Includes CPUSA, Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism (CCDS), FRSO/Liberation Road, DSA, RCP, SDS, Green Party, Progressive
Democrats, Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, United for Peace and Justice (UPJ), Left Roots, Organizing Upgrade, Inside/Outside initiative, SEIU, ACLU, NLG, a number of others but those are some big ones.
