How come no one ever challenges buffoons such as Jesse Ventura?

I forgot he was the governor of Minnesota at one time. I looked it up and see that he was elected Minnesota governor in 1998, way before the Somali invasion. In a previous thread, some Minnesota Freepers declared that there were many RED Republican areas in Minnesota. So how did such a buffoon become governor?
Anyway, what set me off tonight to cause me to come here and rant a little is that he calls President Trump a coward. It seems that the only criteria that Ventura used to refer to President Trump as a coward is the charge that he dodged the draft.
The more I thought about this, the more it irked me. If not serving in the military is the basis of being a coward, then there are probably tons of Freepers that would qualify for that charge. I have three brothers that Ventura would call cowards. I have tons of classmates in high school that would qualify as cowards, according to Ventura's standards. How come it is always Republicans labeled as cowards, but not Obama, Biden, Clinton, and all the other male Democrats? How many of Ventura's fellow wrestlers were cowards? How many of those he made movies with are cowards? Is the Arnold a coward? These are questions that should be asked of him, but like I said earlier - no one seems to want to challenge this buffoon.
Another thing that has always boggled my mind. How can anyone that served in the military come out of the service as a liberal?
Getting back to Ventura, he is another one that says we are now living in a third-world country because President Trump has put the military on the streets to act as law enforcement. What is it with these types of buffoons that they cannot understand that ICE is out there on orders to locate, round up, and arrest illegal aliens?
I suppose trying to understand these buffoons is an exercise in futility. As a Navy Senior Chief said to me one time, "don't wrestle with a pig in the mud. You just get dirty and the pig likes it."
Enough of my minor rant. Time for bed. Good night, all.
I’m glad he got killed in Predator.
jesse “ the mind” ventura.
Ventura defamed the reputation of the U.S. Navy SEALs , whose symbols he flaunts .
I knew one of his former CO’s and he told me he was always a knucklehead. Full of himself.
Anytime...
Movie jokes aside, it’s incredible to watch
Jesse Ventura and see how he’s ALWAYS wrong
(Seemingly)
I think the issue is, why does anyone listen to Jesse ventura. I stopped caring what he says a decade ago. I did not even realize he was still alive. This issue is quickly resolved by not reading the article in the first place. Who cares what Jesse thinks.
In nam,it was the weed.....it changed many young men..
“I’m glad he got killed in Predator.”
The Predator wanted to dine on his brain, but could not find it. “Get to the choppa!”
I do not believe that military service make people into conservatives...People do not easily change their political ideology just because of the military service...In my opinion...
There are many liberal politicians who served in the military...
Jimmy Carter, George McGovern, Ron Dellums, Charles Rangel...
Because they don’t need any help from anyone to make complete asses of themselves.
“What have you done when you have bested a fool?”
“he calls President Trump a coward”
I wonder how he would have reacted had he been winged and supporters killed and wounded on the campaign trail.
Donald Trump is NOT a coward.
I’m not wise at 61, but I’ve pondered the MN folk for a time.
I think it’s been a gubmint subsidy & welfare dependent state long before east africa showed up.
Iron range “working class” totally benefit from right policies but they vote left, same as the farmers.
I think they’d rather bitch and not work, still get paid sustenance + grift, than actually work.
I’m not saying everyone in that state is of that mentality, but it’s obvious a good +10 margin have been for 30 years to explain kooky Ventura and the aftermath of even bigger idoits promoted there.
Sumpin’ in the water or additives up there ain’t right
Brilliant observation. Thanks for sharing. I suspect the same thing about Alaska.
Because he doesn’t matter.
Because he is a buffoon and simply not worth the effort. He is like many of the idiotic liberals in that he is loud, rude, and stupid. Why challenge that?
Did Jesse serve to let the country be over run by foreigners, many who are dangerous criminals? What’s his point? All of this to protect foreigners? Why are not democrats as passionate about protecting the rights and institutions of Americans? Seems to be that the only courage the left has is stealing. Stealing elections, stealing billions of taxpayer money, and if you dare to object to it, that makes you a coward and a nazi? Why are they resisting the enforcement of our laws? DJT is not a coward by any stretch. Jesse the buffoon would have wilted like a pansy under the pressure Trump has been subjected to.
There are plenty of red counties in Minnesota, but they can’t offset Hennepin(Minneapolis) and Ramsey(St. Paul). Harris and Walz won ~70% of the vote in both counties. Duluth is blue, but not nearly blue as Minneapolis and St. Paul. How this fraud was allowed to perpetuate is beyond belief. I guess it is because of 1 party rule at the state level and no verification at the federal level.
How come no one ever challenges buffoons such as Jesse Ventura?
Because arguing with a fool just shows there are 2 fools...
He is so irrelevant and ignorable.
IMHO someone who serves in the military has a chance of having greater respect for whatever party the Commander in Chief is at that time. For example, my grandfather, who served in WW2, voted Democrat even though he thought the Dims’ segregation was wrong and hoped the Republicans won the argument.
