(NewsNation) — Word in Los Angeles is that former VP Kamala Harris and her hubby, legal eagle Doug Emhoff, are done with Brentwood.
A well-placed source in LA told me the two have dropped $10 million on a house in Malibu, near Zuma Beach.
”He bills $2,000 an hour (as a lawyer), and she has a best-selling book and is making a lot of money for speaking engagements,” my source said. “They can afford it.”
I’d be embarassed to admit I paid money to hear Kamala Harris speak. I guess I don’t really have to worry about it, because I never would.
And I don’t think even Dersh or Bob Shapiro ever charged more than $1k an hour, that doesn’t hit $2K an hour even adjusted for inflation.
