Don’t Let Texas Become Texasistan
American Thinker ^ | 5 Jan, 2026 | Janet Levy

How Islamist organizations, taxpayer funding, and sharia-based enclaves threaten Texas’ constitutional order — and why state leaders are finally pushing back.

Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

These words were spoken in 1998 at a gathering of Muslims in California by Omar Ahmad, co-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR operated as a Muslim rights group. But during the 2007–08 Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas — the largest terror funding trial in American history — it was revealed to be a front for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

The trial also revealed that CAIR is an extension of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), which promotes violent, political Islam. Both groups are among 246 entities listed as unindicted co-conspirators in the case. According to Robert Spencer, an Islam expert, CAIR is an “Islamic supremacist organization with the same goals as Al Qaeda and the Islamic State.” The MB’s 1991 memorandum, introduced as an exhibit during the trial, outlined ideas on civilizational jihad, a strategic initiative in which CAIR and the MB are at the forefront.

Ahmad’s speech was completely against the American way of life and the principles of our republic. The findings from the Holy Land Foundation trial should have alerted Americans to the intentions of the MB and CAIR, possibly even led to bans. However, over the following decades, these organizations have been allowed to grow and establish strongholds of Islamist influence in many American states. CAIR representatives have met with Presidents Clinton and Bush, been frequent guests at White House and State Department events, and served as prominent media voices for Muslim-Americans

Islam is not a "faith". It is a socio-political system masquerading as a religion.

I prefer the term "social, political, military, and economic system".

“ It’s hard to believe this chit is happening in Texas.”

Ya. Texas as a reputation of being tough

They’ve allowed the state house to be run by democrats. They’ve allowed ridiculous overrun of the border

They’ve allowed a push of illegal immigration

And they’ve allowed a takeover of the north Dallas suburbs. By Islam

The only thing no go zone about it is if you’re a white American don’t go.

“Theyre so nice.” “My hairstylist is such a nice gal”. Entire families come in. Border schmorder. They fly in

The Koran should be given to everyone that buys a new toilet.

We won’t. We will all wait until some huge catastrophe happens and then the violence will commence. We will win that fight but it’s a shame we have to wait for that.

Jihad continues apace. Many cities will fall. Many civilizations have fallen.

Very sad. I lived in Tampa for 35+ years, and it was a jewel of a city. When it went blue I moved to most rural TN town I could find.

Conspiracy theory follows:

Every government macro level move has political and economic considerations.

All “organs” of the state work towards common goals, in concert to achieve certain outcomes.

Theory which I believe: for years, Democrats in power have INTENTIONALLY left the boarder open, AND ensured many refugees are resettled into red areas knowing the changes in demographics benefits them long term.

Parallel: this is akin to gerrymandering. That idea is generally accepted as real, factual. But the idea that our refugee and immigration policies are used in these games is not fully accepted / realized by the public.

When they get the rule over us, they will make for us what Hitler put the Jews in Germany...through seem like a Sunday School picnic in comparison.

Your reference to Hitler's action puts an uncomfortable fact on the table. It suggests we have a natural obligation to avoid allowing them "to get the rule over us", although that is essentially what Hitler attempted to do for his Germany.

We also have a natural obligation to not address the question in the way chosen by Hitler. So it appears sooner than later we must formally recognize that Islam is not a religion as contemplated by the founders but is rather a cult.

The distinction hinges in this case less on beliefs themselves and more on behavior — especially transparency, accountability, and respect for individual autonomy. The freedom of religion contemplated by the founders was centered on one's right to choose what they believed but did not necessarily provide immunity for behavior of the believers.

I’m afraid you are right. The Founders wrote about this kind of situation and the type of citizens required to keep America free.

That is true, but we have to pick our battlegrounds.

Our national political efforts to resist socialism and communism, marked by out-of-the-closet practitioners who sit in public offices and who have essentially destroyed major cities, as noted in this thread - have been a remarkable failure.

My instinct tells me we first need to disrobe Islam as a religion.

The Islamists are out to conquer the world and create their long sought one world Caliphate under Sharia law ... when ever they pontificate about just wanting to assimilate into every country ask them if they have just used Taqiyya and listen to their lies.

Perhaps the incoming Muslim jihadis can fight it out for dominance with the cholos and bandidos from the barrios that already infest much of the US southwest.

It's hard to believe it's happening anywhere in America. Our war cry after 9/11 was NEVER FORGET. That lasted about a month.

The way to win the midterms is to energize the base like the Dems did in 2022 on abortion ( remember R ‘s supposed to win 100 seats, won <10). This amendment needed to insure domestic tranquility to ourselves and our posterity. Get the Dems to defend Sharia.

The state leaders better push back hard, and fast. Islam is not compatible with any western society and are only here to take over and destroy every nation they done so with so far. And it’s only been 24 years since 9/11. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

From Duck AI: Florida has approximately 200 mosques. The number reflects the growing Muslim population and community presence in the state.

From Duck AI: Texas has about 210 mosques as of 2025.

The nearest mosque to me in FL is about 5 miles away.
