They had options place to see how the federal judiciary system is rigged towards Democrat appointed judges. Hopefully they have a trail of the methods used for their rogue judges being appointed to high publicity cases.

Armed enemy soldiers in a state of attack are legal targets. Enemy soldiers taken prisoner are entitled to due process if they are charged with war crimes. If not, they are held until the end of hostilities and repatriation of all prisoners.

Trump is brilliant and this thing has been in the works for years, apparently. And it’s a credit to those involved that it could be planned and executed for so long with no leaks.
I've seen enough of how Trump acts to feel confident that he has a reason for that decision.
