Shapiro was an anti-Trumper in 2016 and was convinced Clinton would win in an electoral landslide.

As a devout Jew, I suspect a good many of his community are progressives. He might be honestly reporting what he sees.

You forgot to add ... “and Trump does something about voter fraud between now and 2026.”

Injecting the Israel support -vs- antisemite wedge

It's not "Israel support" vs. "antisemite."

It's Israel First vs. America First.

I can’t even get into Shapiro’s politics

His nasal, high-pitched, whining, staccato delivery is like nails on a chalkboard.

Can anyone listen to him longer than 3 minutes?

I knew he was a nevertrumper but when he says he didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 does that mean he didn’t vote at all or that he voted for Hillary?

MAGA isnt even a consideration here. those folk’s votes are a pretty sure bet. there are an awful lot of people in the middle that cant afford hamburger that will be doing a lot of mental math in the voting booth. trumps fault or not.

Years ago I occasionally listened to Ben on local talk radio, but not since then. He was a fast talker.

Now when I listen to any youtube video talker I increase the speed as high as 1.75 to save time. I don’t think I could do that with Shapiro.

It was wishful thinking on his part.

I have no idea why any Trump supporter would ever trust him after his and after he supported DeSantis in 2024.

His brand of conservatism and Republicanism is dead. No candidate he supports has a chance to win the Presidency.

Trump trusted Vance enough to make him VP and anoint him as his heir apparently.

Compare that to Shapiro, who was still trying to undermine Trump in 2024 by supporting DeSantis.

There’s a reason Ben Shapiro’s initials are “B-S”

The 2026 midterm elections will be decided in favor of the Democrats if the dominant issue is healthcare or inflation but it will be decided in favor of the Republicans if the dominant issue is widespread fraud.

If the Republicans lose either house they will be reduced to a president presiding in office who is reduced in power to what he can wield with his "pen and his phone." As resourceful, determined and charismatic as President Trump is, he will likely be fatally handicapped in his crusade to actually save the Republic. That means more than shifting power temporarily away from the deep state to the Republican party, or winning some legislative battles over tax policy, this crusade is to actually save the constitutional republic from a fatal debt spiral and a metastasizing moral cancer.

Fortunately, Trump is singularly equipped to win this election. Very soon he will address the nation in one of the few moments when the president enjoys the focused and extended attention of the whole of the nation in a manner that leaves him less vulnerable to fake news distortions.

In the State of the Union speech he should deny his urge to tout his foreign policy achievements, which are many and great, to emphasize domestic concerns that traditionally decide elections. Trump should seize the moment and outline a devastating indictment of the Democrats and the systemic fraud with which they have cheated Americans of their healthcare, their pensions, and their tax dollars.

The attack must amount to a devastating bill of particulars that makes clear that this systemic fraud done by Democrats hurts every American in ways that mothers will identify with because it hurts their families. When she understands that she can not afford healthcare for sick children, for example, because the system has been pillaged she will vote Republican in unquenchable indignation.

This is the demographic that will carry the election and reverse the historic trend against incumbent presidents in their first by-election.

There is a hilarious Tim Walz video out there—perfect campaign material—where Walz explains that this focusing on Somalis is all so unfair because “white people commit crimes too”.
