A citizen journalist followed up on reports of fraud in Minnesota Somali daycare networks by visiting a learning center in Ohio, where he says he uncovered the “first signs of massive potential Somali fraud.”
Taking a cue from citizen journalist Nick Shirley – whose bombshell exposed Somali-run daycares in Minnesota suspiciously devoid of children – Muckraker reporter Anthony Rubin descended on a Columbus learning center where neighbors similarly said they’d never seen any children.
“We wanted to come out to Columbus, Ohio, and investigate what might be going on in the second largest Somali community in the United States of America,” Rubin described.
After knocking on the learning center’s door and receiving no answer, Rubin crossed the street to speak to a neighbor who said he’d never seen any children at the building, adding patrons primarily use the backdoor.
Another neighbor confirmed to Rubin he’d “never seen nobody come out of the building or go into the building,” acknowledging, “They use the back.”
Investigating behind the building, Rubin documented, “So we came to the back just like those guys suggested. And there’s nothing here.”
The Muckraker journalist said the facility was just one of several centers he planned to visit and report on in the city.
Rubin’s report comes on the heels of Shirley’s bombshell Minneapolis exposé, where he was unable to access Somali-owned businesses deemed daycares to verify whether children were present.
The citizen journalists’ efforts follow a federal investigation into a Somali network at the center of a billion-dollar fraud scheme in Minnesota, scamming programs intended to feed children, help autistic kids and aid those in need, a probe that’s netted 62 convictions with dozens more charged.

Good-bye, Columbus?
Obnoxious performative jerk trying to ride Shirley’s coattails.
FR has been all Somali news, all the time lately. Almost half of the threads posted on the opening current page as of now are Somali related. Must be a slow news day.
How dare he expose the fraud.
More Day Cares than children
So you don't understand that this makes the Earth shift under the Democrat Party and will be the key to winning 2026?
You're just looking for entertainment?
He seems to be the YouTube version of an ambulance chaser.
Where was he on daycare fraud before Shirley’s investigation made the news?
What we need is thousands of "performative jerks trying to ride Shirley’s coattails" to expose the fraud nationwide.
Yesterday I looked up the Islamic school in my college town. Unfortunately, they appear to be legit, but tomorrow I am going to stop by just to make sure.
You should join the jihadis. I think you'd be much more comfortable under Sharia Law.

Looks like the Somali daycare fraud is firmly established in the Democrat's political playbook.
A rapid investigation of the Somali culture will reveal that it is firmly based on a powerful clan system that goes back way beyond the Romans and probably into pre-recorded history. Since sub-clans of 800-1000 men, women and children can be moved as a super-tight-knit single unit, the Dems have easily manipulated voting units to import (immigrate) and then set-up these incredible fraud systems that can tap into billions of taxpayer dollars over the course of a decade or more.
Now that this two-ton rock of Dem political fraud is being overturned, the exposure of iuts depth and complexity will be staggering.
What’s wrong with a Citizen Army to do the work politicians won’t do? I would applaud and encourage anyone who wants to take this on...the taxpayers should pay them to do it!

Why, because I think your statement that it’s ‘unfortunate that an organization appears legitimate’ is telling?
It says a lot that you seem disappointed when you DON’T find trouble. It seems to me that should please you.
Anyone can do it; but people are naturally going to judge them on the manner in which they carry it out - especially today, when posting oneself on the Internet can equal big bucks.
There’s a difference between someone who goes about it soberly and with dignity, and someone who is prancing, posturing, and generally making it all about himself and his performance.
The Somali bloc may be their Achilles heel. The Democrats are finally on the defensive.
It says a lot that you are unaware that we are dealing with a conquest cult who hates us and wants us converted or dead, and considers theft from and enslavement and rape of infidels to be their right.
