🚨WARNING: The Shingrix shingles vaccine is grown in Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells using an SV40 Promoter—linked to cancer in lab studies.

FDA black box warning: Guillain-Barré paralysis risk!

New 2025 study: 11X shingles surge within 21 days post-vax. Is this "protection"?...NO

Shingrix production raises red flags: Immortalized CHO Chinese Hamster Ovary cells engineered with plasmids containing SV40 promoter to crank out viral antigens. SV40 drives high gene expression but has oncogenic potential—linked to cancerous tumors.

Ingredients you won't love:
• GMO Chinese hamster ovary cells (host proteins & DNA remnants)
• AS01B adjuvant: MPL (Salmonella cell wall toxin), QS-21 (plant saponin), Polysorbate 80
• Phosphates & more chemicals

"Clinical trials"? A joke—used diluted Shingrix as "placebo" & only tracked safety for 7 days. Real harms emerge later.

Post-marketing horrors (VAERS/CDC data):
• Guillain-Barré Syndrome: RR 2.84 (42-day risk window) per 2021 JAMA study. FDA added warning in 2021.
• Optic ischemic neuropathy: 3 cases in trials vs. 0 in placebo
• Gout flares
• Reactive arthritis & polymyalgia rheumatica: Causal links in follow-up studies

2025 bombshell: Self-controlled case series in UK GP data showed 11-fold shingles increase (RI 10.96) in 21 days post vaccination.

More red flags:
• Anaphylaxis & syncope common
• Documented lupus induction cases
• Prolonged neuro/musculoskeletal symptoms: Case reports of lasting pain, weakness
• Dermatomal rashes mimicking shingles

Shingles hurts, but Shingrix vaccine? That's a HARD NO! And Toxic antivirals like Paxlovid don't fix root causes—stress, immunity dips.

If you are unfortunate enough to develop shingles, there are natural protocols to clear the virus completely from your system...I used one in 2016, to heal my husband's severe outbreak in 10 days, no nerve pain, no scarring, no permanent damage. Heal root causes: Diet, herbs, heal from within. Protocol linked in replies.

Cited research also linked in replies...

Does a person ever see the box with the deadly black label or just a syringe and an angry nurse?

I got shingles in about 2018. It wasn’t fun.

I was ready to get the shingles vaccine around about 2019 or 2020 but then COVID hit and they were pushing the COVID vaccine. I didn’t trust them, and I knew I wouldn’t get the COVID vaccine. I also figured that if I got the shingles vaccine, they might just slip a little something “extra” in there just for me. So I skipped the shingles vaccine.

Taking my chances at this point — I don’t expect to ever get any vaccine for anything.

I took every vaccine the VA offered until I got the Moderna shots and then got COVID. Now I am going to have to be convinced.

Thanks for this post.

I have been seriously considering getting the Shingrix jabs.

Put if off because of guillain-barre worry. Doctor and PA assistant say not to worry. As of Tuesday this week.

The old shingles version vax CAUSED a painful outbreak of shingles in my late wife. She had never had shingles before.
“Zostavax (Zoster vaccine live), a single-dose, live-virus vaccine that was approved in 2006.” I had that vax and was fine but it only has been proven to protect 20%-40% of the outbreak possibility. Earlier bragging was faulty.

She had the worst luck in being in the “small number” of side effect cases with other Rx’s before, twice directly going into the hospital for them. A doctor said “maybe it’s bad luck.” One drug had the black box warning put on the year after she was admitted to the hospital for weeks. Relative said “That black box warning is partly because of victims like you.” True.

Shingles is NOT FUN...my husband and I have both had shingles and got the shingles vaccine when it came about. We kept telling the pulmonologist and pharmacist NO but about 3-4 years ago, they had a different one that came out and that was the one we got..The pharmacist - not the doctor - warned us about the one that was being given and had us hold off.

I don’t as a rule take any vaccines - never have in all my 80+ years until COPD diagnosis for both of us and we got the flu and pneumonia vaccine for that reason...My husband is gone now but we didn’t have any adverse reactions...Said NO to the COVID one!!

The Shingrix vaccine uses a recombinant protein produced in genetically modified Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells. The expression of this protein is controlled by the human cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter, NOT the Simian Virus 40 (SV40) promoter, and there is no evidence that Shingrix causes cancer.

If caught early, shingles can be treated. If you get a rash on one side of your body, get to the doctor THAT DAY, even if there’s no pain.

“”docs aren’t sure what caused it””

That is really scary. We really have to do our own homework about ailments.

I diagnosed my neuropathy with painful/burning feet and the MD simply said, “possible.” I had to go to a podiatrist for a painful callus on one foot and told him about the pain and he said, “let’s check” and stuck needles in my feet with my eyes averted and said, “Yes - that’s neuropathy.”

I’ve since learned that you can also have it in your hands and that explains painful fingers and hands - like needles...Hope the person you mentioned gets some answers. That is really, really scary. I like to read in bed and have to put my book down when my hands cramp. I KNOW it’s going to happen but chance it!!! Kind of like the COPD diagnosis...know better but!!!!!!!

Amazing story behind the CHO cells. Produced in Peking University in 1919. After WWII and during the civil war in China the hamsters were smuggled out to the US:

In 1948, under the shadow of the Chinese Civil War, and weeks before the fall of Beijing, Dr. Hu Zhengxiang sent 20 Chinese hamsters, 10 male and 10 female, to Dr. Robert Briggs Watson, an American studying malaria in Nanjing, who took an 11 hour drive through blinding rain, narrowly avoiding roving bands of Communist troops, to deliver the animals to Shanghai and onto one of the last Pan-Am flights to the United States.

The hamsters were shipped to Victor Schwentker, a skilled rodent breeder in upstate New York, from whom a Harvard graduate student, George Yerganian, purchased several animals and began his own breeding program and determined the correct number of chromosomes (2n=22).

All modern CHO cells are descended from the 20 individuals provided by Dr. Hu in 1948; for his cooperation with American scientists, he was persecuted as a “reactionary academic authority” for aiding American germ warfare in the Korean War, and sentenced to a reeducation camp for six months. Decades later, during the Chinese Cultural Revolution in August 1966, these accusations resurfaced, leading to a vicious beating in his home at the hands of the Red Guard, shortly after which he and his wife committed suicide.

I know what you mean. I got it almost like clockwork when I turned 50 in 2007. I didn’t know what it was at first and when I couldn’t sleep I went into the local hospital emergency which was almost empty then in the middle of the night. They quickly knew I had shingles and asked when I first noticed it. I said 3 days ago. They said the medication they were going to give me has to commence within 3 days of onset to be effective so I got it and it worked in treating me but like you say...not fun. I was told it would reduce the likelihood of recurrence but not by 100% I’ve thought of getting Shingrix but have not gotten it. Partly out of laziness but since covid I’m also now wary of a lot of stuff. Shingles has not recurred for me since that 2007 bout. I take enough medication as it is and lots vitamins as well so this bit of news will probably kill any idea of getting it.

I was bullied into getting the J&J. Last year, I had a BRUTAL case of Shingles. I went to the local Publix for the Shingrix vax, but couldn’t get it because I was in an active outbreak.
I then read, later, that the Shingrix is linked to GBS.
I have a personal experience with GBS — my mentor had several bouts of it, and died two years ago because of it. He was in, essentially, an iron lung type machine at the end.

I miss him.

And I no longer trust any kind of Western Medicine — but I for my shingles, I took Valtrex, and that helped.
