Independent journalist pays visit to daycares and insurance offices believed to be part of massive billion dollar scam.
Independent journalist Nick Shirley was turned away from several Somali daycare centers in Minnesota after trying to follow up on reports that over $1 billion in taxpayer funds were misappropriated.
Shirley attempted to access daycares by claiming he wanted to see where he might enroll his child; however, staff inside the facilities refused to grant him tours, while Somalis outside told him to pound sand.
Joined by an investigator identified only as “David,” Shirley attempted to verify the daycares actually housed children as Minnesota government records purported, but workers inside the facilities were unwilling to comply and shut the doors on him.
In another part of his investigation, Shirley visited a building housing numerous healthcare companies, which David theorized could be laundering millions in illicit government funds, before being escorted out by police.
Shirley also located a Somali daycare in Minneapolis, Minn., that received nearly $2 million from the federal government — yet it was housed in a windowless building that misspelled “learning” on the business’s main sign.
Shirley’s investigation comes as the feds are currently probing a Somali network at the center of a billion-dollar fraud scheme, scamming programs intended to feed children, help autistic kids and aid those in need.

Trump should go on TV and simply show these clips and then send the army to close down all these vipers nest and immediately stop funding and try to claw back the money already given to them and deport each one of these scumbags.

Several years ago a Minneapolis TV station monitored one of these so called daycares and had on film Somali women with a car full of kids pull up only long enough to sign in and left with their kids in tow. The Minnesota Department of of Human Services when confronted this clear fraud “investigated” and said they could find no evidence of fraud.
Well done and glad to see some investigative journalists still exist...we definitely need more. They can and have uncovered fraud through the years alerting the citizenry and consumers and it needs to happen again...nationwide movement for such!!!

A legitimate day care center has a great deal of visible activity around it. There is a center a few blocks from my house. Depending on the time of day, children are visible playing outside in the facility’s fenced playground. In the morning and evening hours, parents in their cars can be seen dropping off or picking up the children.
These empty offices signal obvious fraud. It appears the state regulators were very determined to keep their eyes closed to the fraud and keep the payments flowing.
