A viral post featuring a notice from a local McDonald’s restaurant is drawing new attention to concerns about rising crime in Uptown Minneapolis.
Attached to a door, the sign reads: "Attention guests, effective Friday, December 5th, our dining room doors will be locked and attended [to] during our normal business hours of 5am-10pm to ensure a safe environment."
"We will deny access to any individual who we consider a risk to maintaining a safe environment for our guests," it continued.
McDonald's confirmed the notice to Fox News Digital.
Mike Darula, local owner and operator of the franchise, told Fox News Digital in a statement that the venue has "proudly been part of the Uptown community for more than 30 years."
"At our Uptown restaurant, we’ve made some updates to our security measures to help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both our crew and customers," he added.
The restaurant has faced ongoing issues with trespassing.
It previously tried community-based solutions before ultimately deciding to lock its dining room doors.

Almost sounds like it's the illegals who don't know how to act correctly.
Bad individuals dislike happy meals.
McDonalds has become more a convertible panic room for their employees than a burger joint in certain areas.
How long before the first lawsuit alleging discrimination against (fill in the blank).
I wonder what criteria they use to decide.
...just curious
Seems likely
At our Uptown restaurant in the hood..............
Sounds they shouldn’t have a restaurant in that area.
In the late 1950s, I lived in NYC. The mom & pop stores that lined the streets all had “buzzer” doors. If you wanted to shop in that store, you waited outside until they checked you out and buzzed you in.

Gee, I wonder who they’re talking about?
Downtown Indianapolis now has an age requirement to enter a store/bar. You have to be 30 years old to enter.
Some of the McDonald’s around here have automatic locks on the bathroom. You have to go to the counter and ask for it to be unlocked.
Following the fatal stabbing at Barne & Noble I suggested here that all businesses need to be given broad authority to exclude any customer.
It previously tried community-based solutions before ultimately deciding to lock its dining room doors.
Unfortunately, community-based solutions are not effective because the community is the problem
The downtown of the Twin Cities is plagued with a proliferation of white trash who live on the streets.
Come winter, this human trash seeks warmth and fast food booths provide the warmth and comfort.
And for the record on an up note........
December is McRib month at McDonalds. So, get’em while you can.
McRib--seasoned boneless pork in tangy BBQ sauce, topped with slivered onions and pickles, on a toasted homestyle bun--BBQ pork sandwich perfection. Availability limited—check your local McD’s.
I’ll guess that the rejected won’t go quietly into the night.

5 minutes?
Would like to see a compilation of their security video finest moments. We all know that there will be a compelling color pattern. Urban American black is a disgusting lesson in cultural studies. Does any other culture tend to strut around with one or both hands down the front of their pants holding their genitals? I dont think so. Rant /off
