Since two of the three NFL games the family regularly watches on Christmas Day are only on Netflix this year, I am wondering - do I have to watch them live or can I watch them a couple of hours later to skip the commercials and halftime shows?

i noticed a lot of streaming services won’t allow you to FF past commercials..
If the game is live, then you can’t use Fast Forward. I do not know if they’ll rebroadcast or not. My guess would be no.
Best cure: don’t try to watch them...
Although if you are in the home city of the team(s), you get to watch on local TV, I believe...
Radio is still a cool way to keep track of an NFL game.

Yes, you do option of watching the games from the beginning on Netflix or watching them in their entire on demand later.

Or anywhere else in the world... The only fans who are required to get Netflix are Americans. Canadians, Brits, Asians... It’s all free for us. Strange... But true.

Get a good antenna and watch the games free over the air. :)
If you are watching the Lions game I suggest trying to be jacked up on as much sugar, alcohol and lithium as humanly possible while you watch Dan Campbell go for it on every down. If your lithium amount is sufficient, you may be able to handle the officiating :-)
If you wait a couple hours, you’ll get the version where they have had time to gender-swap the players to make the game more diverse.
Last time they aired one it was available for replay. I can’t remember if FF worked.
At least one of the games will be replayed on the NFL Network Friday. Usually 2 pm central.

No OTA out here. I doubt my one time $7.99 payment is going to bring down The Republic.
BTW - Netfix must be desperate: They upgraded my new $7.99 account to the top tier ($24.99) for the first (and my only) month.
Subscribers are what fund that stuff and keep the company afloat to influence people.
The NFL app itself doesn’t provide the games?
