The Extreme Right Goes Woke: How Some "Conservatives" Now Trash Freedom and Praise Karl Marx
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnsVywCIanY ^

John Stossel interviews James Lindsay, famous for fighting wokeness on the left. Lindsay is vigorously investigating wokeness on the right, mostly but not limited to those following the ideas of Nick Fuentes.

----

A new section of the right is foolishly bashing liberty … and even embracing Marxist ideas.

That's why some call them the "woke right."

You lose everybody when you embrace big government under the guise of opposing big corporations. In reality opposing both is the ideal.

Well said.

You lose everybody when you embrace big government under the guise of opposing big corporations.

Apart from oultier Communist regimes where the state owns everything, excessive corporate power and excessive state power seem to go hand in hand. Some of the most malignant forms of government are crony capitalist kleptocracies where monopolistic businesses use the power of the state to suppress competition, obtain special tax credits/exemptions, and to be guaranteed no-bid contracts.

America is under no realistic threat of having all enterprises state-owned by a Communist dicatoriship, even under the most leftist Democrats, but there is a creeping tendency towards kleptocratic rent-seeking, regardless of which party is in power.

Post 106 and 120 are in direct contradiction.

"They could not care less about the views of those who stood by and let the situation happen."

That's why I focus on people who didn't stand by and didn't let the situation happen.

But it appears nobody listens anyways. That's where dictatorships happen and people lose their lives. Even white people.

"All the intellectual debates around here are amusing."

It takes time to think things through in order to make sure not to use friendly fire against people who are or would be your genuine allies or friends.

"There are no “wrong” enemies. They will hit some legitimate target no matter where they point."

They point and inevitably kill people who even didn't stand by and didn't let the situation happen with all this wild and unnecessary firing. Ready, Fire! Aim. There isn't anything legitimate about targeting the people who didn't stand by and didn't let it happen.

If people wait for perfect plans to be perfectly executed they will get stomped by an enemy who has no such concerns.

No now wait just a second! After a few moments reason flew in my window and pointed right at your last comment there. You clearly don’t realize it but you accidentally exposed the soft underbelly of tribalism’s greatest flaw.

All of the people who stood by? They were white people.

All of the people who made it happen? They’re all white people! That immigration law that did more to open the third world than any other? That was in 1965, Ted Kennedy was a white guy. I can even get you the name of the bill. Here is the name. It was the Hart–Celler Act. Hart was a white guy. Cellar was a white guy. It’s so funny you can’t even make this stuff up.

John Kerry was white. Bill Clinton was white. FDR was white. Joe Biden the last president who just imported a quarter of the third world, he was also white.

Your whole mantra is bass ackwards. If everything you claim to say and claim to believe is to so true, then the biggest people you must be hateful of is white people.

Now I know that’s not what you are intending, but the facts are easily standing on their own. All of our problems were primarily caused by white people. So then it stands to reason that the people you need to seek revenge against are all of the whites.

Your stated views are absolutely in conflict with reality.

The enemy does have such concerns. They make it a point to not target their allies and friends such as you are doing and their success makes this self evident.

Mamdani wouldn't have gotten elected sniping his allies.

The biggest danger is the administrative state which was first born under Theodore Roosevelt, expanded by Wilson, and cemented permanently under FDR.

The two Roosevelts, that’s who began the screw job. Progressivism is America’s Cancer.

Btw—Vice President Vance clearly understands the issue and addressed it directly in his recent TPUSA speech when he said “you don’t have to apologize for being white”.

What he was saying is that the administration is trying to stop discrimination against white people.

In some ways that is a true statement—but large parts of many local and state bureaucracies and other private actors are still treating white men as second class citizens.

But—the broader point is correct. If discrimination ends then the case for white identity is much weaker at that moment.

Of course if the Democrats take over at any point white men are going to be treated as second class citizens again.

The tagline doesn’t help.

Need specifics. But the specifics is where the trouble exists.

How power treats you is very clear.

You go to school—how do the teachers treat you?

Apply to a university—how does the admissions office treat you?

You are in class—how do the professors treat you?

Apply for a job—how does power treat you?

You are accused of a crime—how does the court system treat you?

How are you and people like you treated in Hollywood movies?

etc etc etc....

This stuff is not difficult to figure out—if we are indeed a nation of equal justice under the law and non discrimination based on race etal it is easy to see.

If that is not the case it is equally easy to see.

Ted Kennedy was white.
Emmanuel Cellar was white.
Philip Hart was white.

The 1965 Immigration Act that threw open the borders to the third world was white legislation.

Most racial groups are totally loyal to their people.

However whites in the modern era are often loyal to ideology first—and many are thrilled to punish their fellow white people every chance they get.

How power treats you is not a function of whether it is leftist white people who decide to stab you in the back—or those of other races or identities.

Oh. So you do have reason to exclude leftist whites.

Why couldn’t you have simply stated that five thousand posts ago?

Trashing “freedom”?

Freedom to do what, exactly? And to do it to whom?

Strip out the USC to a blank copy... Fire every Congresscritter and judge and require all Agencies to justify their existence under Art 1 Sec 8. Enact a new Amendment providing for a “separation of economy and State”. And make violation of the Oath of Office a death penalty offense.

More "conservative" claptrap.

To do any of those things and keep the Constitution, you need to elect a Congress and a President who will do them.

And you can't, so they won't happen.

The conservative movement has never come close to a majority Congress. And since they have conserved nothing, they won't.

And "freedom" without a predicate - freedom to do what? - means nothing.
