The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday they will relocate across the Kansas-Missouri border in a new domed stadium that will be ready by the 2031 season.
The move comes after a Kansas legislative committee approved a bonding package to support the move earlier in the day.
The Chiefs have played at Arrowhead Stadium on the Missouri side of Kansas City since 1972. Kansas City (Mo) Mayor Quinton Lucas and city officials planned to address the media later Monday.

So they'll host the Super Bowl once.
Optimistically, once is a while. SoFi is hosting a second Super Bowl in 2027. KC is a tougher sell since it is a cold weather city, and most Super Bowl attendees have to travel. Detroit gets one every twenty years or so, and Giants Stadium got one without a dome. The more teams that build these northern domed stadiums, the less likely KC will see a Super Bowl very often, so you are essentially correct.

SoFi is hosting a second Super Bowl in 2027. Yes, because it's in Los Angeles.
I've heard of Detroit and Indianapolis hosting the Super Bowl once in their domes. I don't think that the NFL is planning to return to both cities.

I wonder how many people realize KC has the same problem with Ilan Omar’s tribe as does Minneapolis?

Yeah, but it was basically a blow up dome. Lucas stadium is much nicer.

The Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and family have their primary residence in the Highland Park part of Dallas. He also owns FC Dallas (Major League Soccer).

The Bears are also threatening to move to a Chicago suburb.

Detroit had two, but they were different stadiums. I think this is a one time reward for getting a new stadium.

I believe the latest threat is in Indiana.

Detroit has had two Superbowls, 1982 and 2006.

I lived there for 50 years. The wind chill can easily be that cold in January and February.

The Cowboys record is the most impressive, since there was only 4 playoff teams per division vs. 7 teams now.

I think this is a one time reward for getting a new stadium.Correct.
Not really worth spending a couple of billions on building a dome.

Wind chill is not the same a temperature. I have lived in Chicago with wind coming off the lake at -20 BEFORE wind chill, and in Rockford, IL and Edgerton, WI, where you got an honest -20F. My wife hails from Grande Prairie, AB where -40F/C happens every winter (though it usually isn't as windy when it gets that cold).
It would help these things if the NFL didn't insist on playing big games at night, especially in the Eastern and Central time zones.

The Razor (Gillette) was paid for by the team. They did get the state to make some local road improvements, but that was in everybody’s interest considering gameday (and Christmas) traffic in the area. The stadium is now a combination stadium-shopping center, and the area has become a shopping Mecca, so there is Christmas and other shopping in the area. The road improvements were justified.
Foxboro was suburban, semirural not a metropolitan area, but about equidistant from New England’s three largest cities.
Is the Kansas legislature simply guaranteeing the bonds, and will they be paid off by the team, or are they unwriting them, and subsidizing the team?

Yes, it's one thing for a tribe to take taxpayers' money and give it to people who are here illegaly but is it any better for a tribe to take taxpayers' money and give it to billionaires without giving them a stake in the investment?
Yes, yes, I know all about the economic activity it will bring but that economic activity but that's the same argument people use to justify giving money to illegals.
There's a fine line between theft and plunder.
