Yes, it's one thing for a tribe to take taxpayers' money and give it to people who are here illegaly but is it any better for a tribe to take taxpayers' money and give it to billionaires without giving them a stake in the investment?

Yes, yes, I know all about the economic activity it will bring but that economic activity but that's the same argument people use to justify giving money to illegals.

There's a fine line between theft and plunder.

Agree - I lived in the area where the new Chiefs stadium is going to be built.
The theft is beyond billionaires taking it - we had an election to raise taxes in our town in Wyandotte County for schools/education - it lost by 70% - 30%.

The school district promptly sued the state for not funding education in accordance with state constitution. Along with 5 of the ‘richest’ districts in the state. Disgusting.

Since it was still available to us as an act of civil disobedience - we moved out of the county to a location more hospitable to the electorate (not Johnson County)
