What are the Clintons doing in France?
Silver is nearly $70/oz. Expect to see more silver thefts in the news as the price continues to rise.
Avoiding subpoenas.................
Can’t have your cake fork and eat it too.
Or, let them eat cake without their cake forks.
Yes and check the plates top
Candace Owens must be behind this heist, somehow.
She’s probably living rent free in the Élysée Palace.
bttt
Lucky that they found it before it was melted.
What were the three names?
Every other detail was disclosed except for the names and places of origin.
Basic security measures must be pretty lax for French museums and exhibits. One would think the French, would have learned to be more careful, especially with all these unwashed, unvetted and unemployed illegals waltzing across their borders and shores.
FROM BRAVE AI:
The steward, identified as Thomas M., was found with the stolen objects in his locker, vehicle, and home.
He is accused of collaborating with his partner, Damien G., a manager of an online sales company, and a third suspect, Ghislain M., a Louvre Museum guard suspected of receiving stolen goods.
All three suspects have been placed under judicial supervision, banned from contacting each other, and barred from professional activities and auction venues ahead of their trial scheduled for February 26, 2026.
The recovered items have been returned to the Élysée Palace.
I bought a set of 8 flatware plus serving pieces from a thrift store in October for $30.
I knew, but they didn’t, that it was sterling (92.5% pure) silver.
The net silver weight for melt was 75 ounces, which at recent prices of $66 / ounce makes for about $5,000 in melt value.
Definitely my best ever thrift store find!
GREAT!...................Wouldn’t happen around here, the Goodwills and others are too smart for that............
Thanks for the data. Red B. So, this was an inside job.
Wasn’t some other French museum robbed a few weeks ago?
It may have been the Louve. The password on the security cameras was something so very obvious and elementary.
Yes, it was the Louvre. They caught them though...........
Beat me!
One of those movies where the usual suspects are all highly educated, well dressed and already quite wealthy from I’ll gotten gains. They all have a sophisticated sense of humor, some might call it droll or maybe even gauche!
They only drive the best cars money (or sneaky planning) can buy.
