Taken from The Secret Destiny of America, Manly P. Hall's work on the occult history and future of the American continent, this article shows that the American ideals of constitutional democracy, universal suffrage and a free people under God are the culmination of thousands of years of tireless work undertaken by great initiates on behalf of humanity.

Oh gosh...the dreaded Handshake...
Apparently in the first few months of the 1900s there was a lot of outright hostility between the Masons and the Knights of Columbus set up by the Catholics to be similar. Napoleon Hill (Think and Grow Rich) wrote “If only there will come a day where a man with a Mason’s pin approaching a man with a Knights pin will just nod and smile at each other in peace.”

The Catholic Church officially forbids membership in Freemasonry, viewing its principles as irreconcilable with Catholic doctrine, a stance reiterated by the Vatican as recently as 2023 and carrying penalties like excommunication for members. Key reasons for this prohibition include Masonic religious indifferentism (the idea that all religions are equal), secrecy that conflicts with Church transparency, oaths that may supersede Catholic duties, and a naturalistic view of God (the “Great Architect of the Universe”) that differs from the personal God of Christianity. While some see American Freemasonry as just a social club, the Church maintains that its core tenets are
inherently at odds with Catholic faith, making membership a grave sin.

For the usual impeccably factual history version, you might watch these two Ancient Aliens episodes (I have tongue in cheek):
“Alien Brotherhoods and Codes”: Focuses on Templars and Freemasons guarding symbols and numbers.
and
“Aliens and the Founding Fathers”: Explores Masonic elements and symbols in Washington D.C..
I knew someone who had three male relatives who were Jewish Masons.
Lie.
Sad but true.
This part of the book equates human strength and unbridled emotion, with evil seething energies.
All you would have to do is read the preceding paragraph (actually on page 75) to verify that the purpose of this passage is to show that after the task of the initiate to develop self-control is complete, he can be a capable servant of God.
Remember God's admonishment to Cain before he killed Abel - that the evil urge was within him, but that he could be its master, and that there would be uplift with improvement.
You can listen to many hours of Manly Hall's lectures on Youtube. He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he was certainly not an advocate of satanism.
Freemasonry is not compatible with Biblical Christianity.
Any person who believes themself to be a Christian has an obligation to the Lord Jesus Christ and their salvation to do their research and due diligence before having anything to do with Freemasonry or its accompanying organisations-
-be they Blue Lodge, Prince Hall, Scottish Rite, York Rite, etc., and for the women - Eastern Star, and the youth - Job’s Daughters, Rainbow Girls, Demolay, etc.
Many of the “secrets” of the Lodges are no longer “secret”.
So, Christians, investigate thoroughly what is being offered you before being lured into these organisations.
Please do not wander in blindly just to be blindfolded or have a hood put over one’s head, and a noose about one’s neck, and go into a group of ppl with no knowledge about what you are about to be asked to do, which is to swear an oath to have your throat cut if you reveal any of the organisation’s secrets, and also to literally be seeking “light” from a source other than the Creator God, the Lord Jesus Christ (whom is not allowed to be prayed to in Freemason Lodge meetings) and the Holy Spirit.
Because you will be told to say - while blindfolded- that you are seeking light in order to enter the Lodge.
Jesus is the Light of the World.
John 8:12 ¶ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 5:34
“But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:”
and in James 5:12 the Bible says
“above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.”
The religious leaders and experts of Jesus’ day were convinced that he was a blasphemer and heretic. This, based on his lack of conformity to their settled dogma, the settled doctrines being their foundation of “truth”.
The same is true today.
Kind like how many see big government programs as the solutions to the ills of society, so anyone who comes along wanting to actually solve problems — which necessarily involves shutting down corrupt, ineffective, dead weight bureaucracies by which the believers have their power and wealth — it’s off with his head.
Gotta lay low to get any real work done with that crowd always at-the-ready to pounce.
There’s an infinite amount of knowledge coming from all directions. Perhaps it’s considered too much effort to discern the good from the bad, and then move up and out by choosing the good.
I have no need or desire to subscribe to any particular belief systems that might be attached to useful information.
Meanwhile, blind gatekeepers are ever-busy, warning the folks about what is “surely” beyond.
I don’t suppose they would have made any headway on my property, which at first had no walking paths, only a few snaggled wildlife trails. Nothing the loppers and some time and effort couldn’t tackle for the most part.
But what do you figure they’d want to take advantage of those nice trails that are already there.
No shortage of the types who are absolutely convinced that it’s doing God’s work to close all the “wrong” doors and curtains in order to block out the...
darkness.
Few ever catch on.
they are the same family
sounds a little new world order-ish
Isn't that preferable to everyone killing each other?
Here is a video of just one example of a “secret”:

sure
in a 1984-ish kind of way
I see no incompatibility at all.
The video is fake?
“I see no incompatibility at all.”

Ah.
To be absolutely clear -
You are saying that the beliefs of Freemasonry are compatible with Biblical Christianity?
Is this what you believe?
I haven’t known a Mason who was also a Christian who had a problem reconciling the two.
