He was an exemplary candidate and eventual recipient of his prestigious award.
His = *this*
Is the picture at the link Mendoza?
No! That’s nuts!
Sorry!
Omg, this is Mendoza. NCAA.COM should be ashamed of themselves.

Julian Saying got robbed.
Truly a fairy-tale season for Indiana. I’m glad Lee Corso is still around to see it.
Thank you. I posted the article without looking at the photo the NCAA chose. I was watching the award show. Totally goofed on the photo aspect. Why didn’t the NCAA use the right photo?
Strong beliver
Thanks for the update; didn’t think it was him.
I’m a Buckeye fan, and I totally disagree with that. Sayin is very young. A redshirt freshman. Mendoza is a redshirt junior.
It is my opinion that Mendoza deserved the award THIS year. He has been the most valuable player to his team, above all other valuable players.
I congratulate him on his amazing season.
Sayin has some time under his belt. I wish him the best!
Was never in doubt after last Saturday....
I can think of one reason. Mendoza looks like a white guy? Or else someone at NCAA is stupid.
Exactly!
Why did they even allow the Notre Dame player to be on the grounds of the ceremony when he was an eligible to win?
Totally right on the money.
Great point! Me too, so cool!
