North Atlanta High School is by far the nicest government high school in the City of Atlanta. It really looks like a small modern private college. It used to be a huge IBM site, was gifted to the city when IBM shut it down. Early 2000s IIRC.

Of course, being in the Buckhead part of ATL, there are half a dozen very high end private schools within spitting distance. Think houses starting at the $1 million level for not much, and going well into 8 figures. The governor’s mansion on West Paces Ferry isn’t far. And most folks send their kids to those private schools to avoid their kids being among this sort of thing.

He stabbed a guy at a bus stop and the jury acquitted him because he dared utter the word “neighbor” (worst thing you could call them) AFTER the knife attack.

This book is a great example of why my wife and I prefer to have physical books (and we have quite a few). Digital is vulnerable to corruption, while my books fall under the “cold, dead hands,” rule.

the Navy, long ago when you could do such things, performed some experiments on it’s men. They basically line them up and took samples of their saliva and their blood. By race they found the White men had the highest IQ’s, the hispanics had lower IQ’s in general, followed by the black sailors.
Checking for testosterone they found the black sailors had the highest levels of T, the hispanics were midrange and the White men slightly lower amounts.
The combination of high testosterone and low average IQ is devastating
