You may want to consider which state you’re in when you put together your Christmas playlist this season.
A study by FinanceBuzz used Google Trends to figure out which Christmas song is the trendiest in each state, with a variety of familiar tracks making it on the list. You might be surprised by the results.
“All I Want for Christmas Is You”
“Jingle Bells”
“Santa Baby”
“Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!”
“Run Rudolph Run”
“Blue Christmas”
“Feliz Navidad”
“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”
“A Holly Jolly Christmas”
“Last Christmas”
“White Christmas”
I’m not a feminist but that sex-kitten vibe from Santa Baby makes my skin crawl
My favorite, by Minnesota girl Judy Garland, is “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. Most hated is Bruce Springsteen’s “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”.
Not as much as I hate "Santa Baby!"
touche....to be honest I only listen if I stumble across a song I like during those other times in the car which is rarely.
My playlist is comprised of songs you won’t hear in the mall. I can hear those anytime at the Walmarts.
Playing now on Spotify: Sussex Carol - Christ Church Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys, Indianapolis.
I had to actually listen them to the remember what Blue Christmas and Santa Baby were!
LMAO
Of course I had heard them both countless times, but just couldn’t think of them when I saw the names on that map
I dont believe Felice Navidad is the most popular in Texas and Florida. I think however, they polled this they polled a bunch of spanish only speakers and that was the only song name they understood to respond to.
I can’t stand “Winter Wonderland”, particularly the Parson Brown part. Easily one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.
One only needs Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” to survive the season.
My favorite, by Minnesota girl Judy Garland, is “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. Most hated is Bruce Springsteen’s “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”.
This guy did a Grok Imagine animation of a little African boy sitting on Santa’s lap. He says, “It’s Christmas? I didn’t know at all!” What made it is he gave no context. You had to think of the song yourself.
yes certainly... get rid of the only one listed that has even a remote reference (that I am aware of) to the Birth of Christ Jesus.
The important thing is to separate the season, from the savior... no necessito Jesu Christo... no wonder we are under God’s judgement. out of the schools, out of the public square, attacked by our laws, and out of his own advent season. Santa means saint right... there you go...
PUKE.
“and for this reason they shall be given over to a reprobate mind that they may all may be damned who received not, the love of the Truth.”
It’s Christmastime, that is.
I like “I’ll be home for Christmas “, and “Baby it’s cold outside”
Oh come, oh come Emmanuel... didn’t make the list even as a selection. Neither did “Silent Night”, or “oh come all ye faithful”
God help.
My God, not s single true Christmas Carol ANYWHERE?
All of that modern drek is just awful.
If I hear “Last Christmas” or “All I Want for Christmas is You” one more time I’m going to go postal.
Looking forward to January.
the metal heads remembered... a little at least. Emmanuel

Yes, also the classics from the “Rat Pack” - Dean Martin singing “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” Frank Sinatra: “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” or the two of them singing “Marshmallow World” (the only version I like) - or Vince Guaraldi’s great score for “Charlie Brown Christmas.”
— I’ve switched over to the Manheim Steamroller Christmas station.
Interesting that the only one that has the birth of Our Lord and Savior in the title is in Spanish.
My favorite is Stille Nacht, followed by Minuit Chrétien - so who am I to complain?
