Let me show you the receipts. March 21, 2025: ONE leak to the NYT. Blanche declares war: "We will not tolerate politically motivated efforts by the Deep State to undercut President Trump's agenda by leaking."
He opened a criminal investigation.
Sept-Dec 2025: FORTY-SEVEN leaks to 9 newsrooms. Grand jury secrets. Internal deliberations. Prosecution strategy. Every single one helped Letitia James.
SIX made Todd Blanche the hero—the "reasonable" man who "questioned the legal viability" of the case, who was "caught off guard" by an indictment he never wanted.
His response to 47 federal crimes?
NOTHING.
Why?
Because Blanche was protecting Erik Siebert—the prosecutor who looked at 42 YEARS of mortgage fraud, 4 properties, 115,000 PAGES of evidence, and said "insufficient."
Experience without courage is just credentialed cowardice.
Martin and Pulte saw the stonewalling. They went around Blanche. They took it to Trump.
The case got indicted ANYWAY.
Now? Carol Leonnig reports Blanche is "possibly even encouraging" a federal investigation into Martin and Pulte.
He's embarrassed. So he's investigating the people who embarrassed him.
And who's reporting the leaks that make Blanche the hero?
Ken Dilanian—caught in 2014 sending stories to the CIA for pre-publication review. The government's favorite stenographer is now carrying water for the Deputy AG.
And what exactly is Pulte's "crime"? ▪️READING MY BLOG. ▪️Following links to PUBLIC RECORDS. ▪️Making a criminal referral—which is literally his job under federal law (12 U.S.C. § 4617).
Meanwhile, Letitia James made FOUR contradictory sworn statements. Texted her accountant "it looks suspicious." Exposed in 115,000 pages of evidence.
No investigation.
THE READER IS THE CRIMINAL. THE FRAUDSTER IS THE VICTIM.
That's the DOJ under Todd Blanche.
And the 9 newsrooms that accepted 47 illegal leaks? They're covering Blanche's investigation of Martin and Pulte without a hint of irony. They benefited from the leaks. Now they're silent about the retaliation.
There's enough hypocrisy here to fill an encyclopedia. 1 leak that hurt Trump = Criminal investigation 47 leaks that helped Blanche = Silence Reading a blog = Under investigation 42 years of fraud = Protected
That pattern has a name.

It has been quite fortunate in that regard in recent decades, perhaps to go back no further than the Kennedy assassination.
