Adm. Frank “Mitch” Bradley told lawmakers today that there was no “kill them all” order on an alleged drug boat in September.
According to the Associated Press, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said Bradley “was very clear that he was given no such order, to give no quarter or to kill them all.”
Cotton also said the video of the strike showed the two survivors “trying to flip their boat back over and continue their mission.”
The Democrats, on the other hand, tried to portray the alleged drug runners as “shipwrecked sailors.”

Still, [Rep. Jim] Himes said the full video footage of the Sept. 2 strikes showed that the two survivors were “shipwrecked sailors.”
“What I saw in that room was one of the most troubling things I’ve seen in my time in public service. You have two individuals in clear distress, without any means of locomotion with a destroyed vessel, who were killed by the United States,” Himes went on. “Now there’s a whole set of contextual items that the admiral explained. Yes, they were carrying drugs. They were not in the position to continue their mission in any way.”
Himes made some outlandish statements yesterday as Elizabeth wrote this morning.
This all stems from a Washington Post article that claimed sources said Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the military to “kill them all.”
Even The New York Times called out WaPo, pointing out that the article “did not provide context on when Mr. Hegseth gave what its sources described as a spoken order to kill everyone.”
Gee, and the media wonders why the Pentagon has placed restrictions on the media!

I don’t care what happens to the drug smugglers. They don’t care how many Americans they kill. Seems like a perfect compromise to me.
The question is, why are Democrats so desperate to assure the drug traffickers aren’t hindered?
And yet Rand Paul still wants to drag Hegseth in for questioning. 🙄

How many fishermen in Venezuela can afford 100 thousand dollars or more of motors on the back of their boat? Only a glance at the designed of those boats shows they are built for speed across open ocean.

Yup! I’m surprised there hasn’t been any “shipwrecked U.S. Senators” riding around with the drug pushers. They seemed to be familiar with the entire drug delivery operations.
See it this way: They were stranded in shark infested waters, hundreds of miles from any land, and condemned to die either by drowning or shark. We saved them from having to suffer either horrible fate.
Dems are no doubt grooming ex-Admiral Holson for his upcoming rebuttal testimony, which should give all a good look at his highly touted integrity.
Is it possible the two were just innocent passengers who had paid for transportation to the US where they planned to enroll in medical school?
It’s not the traffickers; it’s their product they crave.
They were just shipwrecked sailors just like Adolf Eichmann was just an undocumented immigrant in Argentina.
Product, campaign cash, keeping their voters stoned and dependent...lots to like for Dem pols.
I’ll bet they had the notebooks with the cure for all cancer with them while their “shipwrecked” bodies floated among those huge crates of drugs headed for the DemonRAT Party of Death for their voter base.
The key to this and prevent pissing off the RAT Senators for killing their drug butt boys is to shoot multiple missiles during the first “tap”. Make sure there is no boat for their “shipwrecked sailors” to try to flip back over while their beloved U.S. Senators watch and cried.
The order was as follows:
1. All efforts to save survivors of sunken ships, such as the fishing out of swimming men and putting them on board lifeboats, the righting of overturned lifeboats, or the handing over of food and water, must stop. Rescue contradicts the most basic demands of the war: the destruction of hostile ships and their crews.
2. The orders concerning the bringing-in of captains and chief engineers stay in effect.
Survivors are to be saved only if their statements are important for the boat. Be harsh. Remember that the enemy has no regard for women and children when bombing German cities!
Instead of an order of execution at his Nuremberg Trial for war crimes, he was sentenced to only 10 years in Spandau prison. He was unrepentant to the end of his life.

In a manner of speaking, I guess the guys on those boats were “shipwrecked sailors”, but just got caught performing illegal functions. They probably paid for their actions much more so than by going through court action & saving taxpayers a fortune in the process.
