Wife designs large closets for people with too much stuff and too much money, white-grey is very popular. Its nice but a bit too institutional looking for my taste, I like the central american bright colors.

Men can see 16 colors, women can see thousands and they have names for all of them.

The institute, which is considered a leading authority on color, forecasting trends and advising brands, described the shade as “a billowy, balanced white imbued with a feeling of serenity.” As technology’s grip on daily life tightens, Cloud Dancer represents a “calming influence in a frenetic society, rediscovering the value of measured consideration and quiet reflection,”
Oh man, that takes made up pretentious BS to new heights.

“I was always taught that strictly speaking white is not a color.”
White is the absence of color...

White is not a flattering color for many people.
I am not a fan of all-white kitchens, which I read yesterday are on the “outs” with interior decorators.

We used to call that color “Navajo White”...Politically incorrect nowadays I guess.

I once painted my apartment with a color called, ‘Antique White’. The walls had previously been a slightly grayish white that was less warm much cooler.
The difference was amazing; the whole tone and feeling of the apartment changed.

‘Cloud Dancer’ aside, there are many whites and they are different and have different effects. See post 33.

When building spec homes, we used what was commonly referred to as “Relocation Beige” :-)

If I remember correctly ’Cloud Dancer’ is the name of a fictitious designer drug
from a William Gibson science fiction novel.

I wonder what the RBG formula is. I love all the different shades of white when it comes to paint.
