The White House defended its immigration policy after Sabrina Carpenter slammed the White House for using her song “Juno” in a video posted to social media on Tuesday.
“Here’s a Short n’ Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we won’t apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country. Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson told Newsweek. The statement referred to the title of her 2024 album and lyrics to “Manchild.”

The video posted by the White House overlayed the song “Juno” to clips of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents making arrests amid President Donald Trump’s heightened immigration enforcement.
“This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda,” Carpenter wrote in a post to X.
Carpenter has not shied away from politics in the past. Following Trump’s victory last November, she delivered a message to fans during a concert in Seattle, reported Billboard.
“Sorry about our country and to the women in here I love you so so so so so much & I really hope for the rest of this night that you can enjoy yourselves because you absolutely deserve it,” she said.
Carpenter has also been a staunch supporter of LGBTQ+ rights. During her performance at the Video Music Awards (VMAs) earlier this year, her dancers held up signs that read “Protect Trans Rights” and “Support Drag” and “Dolls Dolls Dolls,” a message that is supportive of the transgender community.
She also asked her fans to join her in making donations to the National Immigration Law Center amid Trump’s mass deportation operations in an Instagram story earlier this year, reported Teen Vogue.

Never heard of this bimbo before this post. Looked her up. What a skank.
Joan Rivers had the best reply for something like that Arf Arf..
She looks like a wax figure in the left photo.
She is cute and talented, but alas is a political retard like all other democrats.
I don’t want to hear her complain when she gets raped or robbed by an illegal alien. It’s bound to happen.
She is like every other “celebrity” a constructed automaton doing their master’s bidding, saying what they are told to say, anything to keep the ‘fame’ and money rolling in. When her ‘beauty’, and youth are all used up, which will be much, much sooner than she believes, she’ll be thrown on the scrapheap with the rest of the plastic dolls.
She doesn’t own that recording, the record company does. And they can license its use through ASCAP or BMI anytime they want.
Thank you for addressing the actual issue. I believe that legally it depends on the contract that each individual artist agrees to contractually. Taylor Swift ( love her or not) has made it so she legally owns the rights to all of her music.
I do wonder if Sabrina’s label did license the use of the song for ICE.
I once had a little respect for her, but thats all out the window for this woke sjw sloot.
Every contract to a new artist is boilerplate and contains the assignment of all copyright claims to published works. If an artist is popular and delivers on that first contract then they are in a position to negotiate. I guarantee the record company owns the rights to the songs on Taylor Swift’s very first album.
Never heard of this bimbo before this post. Looked her up. What a skank.
Never heard of her and don’t care enough to look her up.
Skank, i trust your judgement on that.
Never heard of her
It’s not nice to make fun of a RETARD.
Anyone have the offending post?
They did and and she used money she made on the Eras tour to buy back the rights to all of her music.
