According to the U.K. Daily Mail, Kohberger is now apparently a “nightmare prison diva,” and part of his unruly behavior has to do with his thoughts on the bananas offered in prison.
“He’s complaining about the type of bananas he’s being served,” McDonough told the British outlet.
He added: “They’re not the kind that he likes. I’m not sure if that means they may have bruises on them and he doesn’t like that or if there is a particular type of banana that he likes. But he’s complaining about the food he’s getting.”
Through its sordid history, the Idaho Maximum Security Institution has been known for violence, dangerous HVAC units, and feces-smeared cages. In other words, it’s not the sort of place you’re likely to find a perfectly ripe banana.

He previously exhibited signs of paranoia about food. Remember when he demanded that his food be cooked in pots or pans which had never touched meat? Sounds like a paranoid schizoid. He’s gonna be like that till maybe some other crazy in lock up has heard enough.

Yeah, you really can’t understand it until you’ve actually experienced being inside.

Apparently just because he got a little notoriety he thought prison life was gonna be like a hotel......he’s gonna learn the hard way he’s not special and the prison doesn’t give a shit about his demands.
They have their SOPs for everything and have no requirement to extend past that......and that includes food.
What a crappy statement. I'm sure our Idaho Maximum Security Institution is just fine and well-suited to its inhabitants.

Caught a documentary on prisons on Netflix earlier this year called “Inside World’s Toughest Prisons”
From what I saw, this kholburger pizza chit is in a holiday inn.
I tend to think he is almost super craycray...so I don’t think he would “understand” it as well as you or I. He really should’ve been executed as a highly functioning criminal.
How did he fool his parents, and washington state univ...or did he have a steep descent into murderous madness?
As I understand it he had multiple complaints at that school he was at and they were never investigated.
I guess see something say something isn’t for everybody.
I’m sure you’ve seen lots of clips of the high security prison in El Salvador. That is a non-nonsense, very tough place.

Indeed. All of us on FR would LOVE to have a place like CECOT that scares the bad guys sh!tless and cleans up the streets. The El Salvador crime rate tells the story.
