According to the U.K. Daily Mail, Kohberger is now apparently a “nightmare prison diva,” and part of his unruly behavior has to do with his thoughts on the bananas offered in prison.
“He’s complaining about the type of bananas he’s being served,” McDonough told the British outlet.
He added: “They’re not the kind that he likes. I’m not sure if that means they may have bruises on them and he doesn’t like that or if there is a particular type of banana that he likes. But he’s complaining about the food he’s getting.”
Through its sordid history, the Idaho Maximum Security Institution has been known for violence, dangerous HVAC units, and feces-smeared cages. In other words, it’s not the sort of place you’re likely to find a perfectly ripe banana.

Having spent five years in my church's prison ministry I saw it and heard many comments from inmates about the food, and none of it very good.
When this monster was convicted, one of my first thoughts was wait until he sees the food......it really is a punishment all on it's own......and well deserved by this demon.

I have done prison ministry too.
One story was that they better speak in English or Spanish, not some local native dialect. If that happened there were consequences.
So I assume the complaining was in proper language..............

Might be intentional, a way to solitary and protection from others. This has happened.
Leave him in gen pop, eventually the complaining stops.
Is this guy isolated? Any more bitchiness like this could get him force-fed bananas until his lungs are full.
He doesn’t have to eat it if he doesn’t like it.

The Daily Mail had previously reported that Kohberger almost instantly became a target of his fellow inmates, who would taunt and jeer at him through all times of the day. It was apparently enough to mess with his sleep.

Heck, that’s every facility I ever went in to. Lol!
And not that I needed any convincing, but a few visits confirmed that demons ARE REAL!
I’ve been in prison ministry the last few years after a haitas.
The men are generally finally looking to Jesus after failing every other way.
But few walk through those doors. There’s tons of guys like above complaining about better care after murdering, molesting, raping, strong arming, dealing whatever.
So many manipulations but some really give their hearts to Jesus. They’ll do their time and they have a changed Spirit.
The reast? The door is open.
Why are we wasting good bananas on a quadruple murderer?
I dunno what the dangerous HVAC units is about....in my state’s department of corrections there are very few (around 25%) controlled environments for inmates.
Yes. Wasting oxygen.
The only thing this killer “deserves” is a bullet to the head.
And, that is far more compassionate than what he did to his victims.

In all the conversations I had with inmates one thing none of them ever said was they were wrongly convicted.
Had a couple say they believe God put them in prison for a reason though.
To me that was an indication that they were past all the excuses and blaming everyone else for the situation they were in.
And yes, prisons are certainly full of master manipulators.
If he doesn’t like the bananas, he should stop appealing.
Ask not for whom the bell peals.
Well you can thank the prosecution for that never happening.
That they let this monster plea deal to life is a miscarriage of justice IMO.
