This is the kind of post that gets Rep. Massie in trouble with his colleagues. He tells the truth. It's disgusting what's going on.
Why do some excuse the Congressmen and the majority for breaking their repeated promises?

.
Massie is a Fraud!
He could’ve stopped all the Woke Spending under Biden, but he cast the deciding Vote to let Trillions (with a T) flow to Woke causes.
And he did it for nothing, when he had them over a barrel.

Massie ran on cutting taxes then voted to raise them. I’d be pissed if I voted for that fraud.

Putting Massie aside for the moment to state the obvious, the GOPe/congress/uniparty/dems collectively the last couple of generations has put us where we are today on most topics.
Watch the federal debt ceiling limit raising as ‘fake fights’ with the pretend parties soon as this is a commensurate perfect example.

They talk the talk to get elected, but they don’t walk the walk once elected.

Andrew Jackson. The only President that had zero federal debt. The problem is systemic. Congressmen have little incentive to cut and plenty of incentives to spend. A Balanced Budget Amendment could work. An Article V Convention Of States was close to calling a Convention for such an amendment. Congress responded with a fake cure: Graham Rudman. The plot worked . The effort was effectively killed.

This is true. And we've all accepted it. It's time, as Bill Buckley put it in the first issue of National Review, "to stand athwart the tide of progress crying stop."
