Every creator on X is playing a game they were never told the rules to.
Your reach isn’t dying by accident. It’s being scored, tiered, and throttled behind your back.
If advertisers decide your ideas are “unsafe,” the algorithm buries you before your own followers ever see a word.

BRIEFING
Jett here. Everyone feels like something changed on X, like the lights dimmed on certain voices and mysteriously brightened on others. It’s starting to feel like that commie Jack is running the show again. Let’s get into it.
X isn’t just a public square anymore. Apparently, it’s a scoring machine that quietly decides whose voice is “brand safe” and whose voice is a liability. And that decision has very little to do with truth and a whole lot to do with what advertisers want to see next to their logos.
That’s the insider reveal that was recently uncovered and actually explains a lot. This new information lines up perfectly with what creators have been seeing for months. Posts that used to fly now die in seconds. Followers say, “I never see your stuff anymore.” New posts get capped at a weird, low ceiling, while legacy accounts with the right politics or corporate backing seem untouchable. That’s called an advertiser-run tiered system, and it sucks.
Think of it like this. There are five invisible “trust tiers” sitting under everything you post. At the top, you have whitelisted royalty. Celebrities, big media brands, and corporate accounts. Their stuff is auto-boosted because advertisers trust them and X knows they bring in the money. They can be boring, sloppy, or flat-out wrong. Doesn’t matter, the feed still loves them.
Below that category are the “good kids.” Creators who talk about “safe” topics. Lifestyle, surface-level politics, and culture in soft focus. They are rewarded with stable reach and predictable numbers because they do not scare brands. They’re the vanilla creators who keep it safe. Then you slide down into the middle, where the system really starts poking and prodding you. One week you go viral, and the next week you are invisible. That is the algo trying to decide if you belong closer to the top or if you are a problem.
But here’s where things get dicey… tiers 2 and 1 are where the trouble really starts. Tier 2 is a soft restriction. Your followers stop seeing your posts. Your numbers stall at 45 likes no matter what you do. You’re not banned; you’re just quietly tagged as “low trust” and put in the penalty box. Tier 1 is the shadow realm. Controversial words, “risky” topics, anything advertisers have flagged as radioactive. Those posts get thrown to a tiny random test group, not your audience, and if nobody engages in the first minute or two, the system flips the switch, and your post is basically dead on arrival.
Thanks to a conservative creator with a large following and no engagement, we now understand what’s happening. Nothing Jessica Rojas posted was getting traction. So she started asking questions, pressed the issue, and ended up talking directly with someone inside X who explained the “tiering system” in detail. And then, to make sure she wasn’t being misled, she checked it against Grok… and Grok confirmed the entire scoring model.
The simple version is this. Every post is hit with hidden numerical scores, relevance, quality, engagement, and recency. Those scores get weighted, blended together, and used to decide who rises and who gets buried. Low score, you vanish. High score, you get pushed. You’ll never see your number.
And this is where the bias shows itself. If advertisers dislike your topic, tone, or politics, the system treats you like a risk no matter what your audience thinks. Negative comments drop your quality score. Reports hit you even harder. People who hate you can tank your reach faster than your fans can lift it. Meanwhile the protected classes, like celebrities, corporate media, and big brands, glide right past all of this.
This is why so many conservative creators feel like they’re being throttled. Well, they are. Not because X has an explicit political rulebook, but because advertisers still lean left and define “brand safety” through their own lens. Protect the advertisers, and the political skew takes care of itself.
And that brings us directly to the posts from the creator who cracked this open. She lays out how the tiers work, how the 60–90 second “survival window” operates, and how X quietly routes controversial posts to strangers instead of your followers.
SOURCE
X employee gives me the REAL truth. I finally got an insider who reviewed my support ticket, and what they told me explains EVERYTHING we’ve all been experiencing. Certain accounts (like ours) are being pushed into “Tier 1” and quietly buried. Your posts never even reach your own followers. I’ll break down exactly what they said in the comments, please share this so people know what’s happening
Here’s what the insider told me directly:
• X now uses a “tiering system” based on advertiser preferences If your content is labeled “controversial,” “risky,” or “not brand-safe,” you’re put into Tier 1 – the lowest category.
• Tier 1 = almost no visibility Your posts get shown to a tiny random test group- NOT your followers. If they don’t engage within seconds, the algo buries the post permanently.
* You get 60–90 seconds to “prove your post deserves to live” If you don’t get: – likes – comments – shares – bookmarks immediately, the system tags the post as low-quality.
• Negative comments hurt you Arguing = low-quality. Disagreement = low-quality. Reports = heavy penalty. So the people who dislike you can literally tank your reach.
• Meanwhile high-profile accounts are permanently boosted The algo won’t de-rank them no matter what they post – they’re “protected.”
• Symptoms creators are reporting: – New posts losing views in real time – Old posts getting notifications – Zero comments – Posts capped at 45–100 likes – Followers saying “I never see your posts anymore” – Posts dying instantly The insider literally said: “You’re not being singled out. A LOT of accounts are experiencing this. Advertisers wanted these changes.” What helps right now:
• Ask followers to SHARE important posts • Use Lists where people can see every post
• DM a small group for early engagement
• Repost if the algo smothers your first attempt
• Remind people to turn your notifications on You’re not imagining it, this is happening. If you want to support creators, sharing this helps more than anything. They can bury posts… but they can’t stop truth that spreads.
UPDATE: I’ve received even more information… and we now have CONFIRMATION straight from Grok itself. Someone asked me how many “tiers” exist on X. Well, buckle up, because between insider patterns AND what Grok just admitted publicly… it’s now undeniable. There are FIVE trust tiers operating behind the scenes. Not officially acknowledged, but 100% real based on how the system behaves.
Tier 5 -Whitelisted Royalty Celebs, corporations, MSM journalists. Always boosted, always trending.
Tier 4 – The “Good Kids” Advertiser friendly creators. Stable reach, algorithm loves them.
Tier 3 – Neutral Zone Sometimes viral, sometimes invisible. Algorithm is “testing” you.
Tier 2 – Soft-Restricted Posts capped. Followers don’t see your content. Labeled “low trust.”
Tier 1 – The Shadow Realm Controversial topics. High-risk classification. Automatic throttling. And now we know why these tiers exist , because a hidden scoring system runs beneath all of it. Direct confirmation from Grok- see screen shot below. Grok was asked if there are “numbers” behind how posts are ranked. And Grok responded YES -there are numerical scores. Here’s what Grok admitted… Your posts are assigned numerical scores for: relevance quality engagement recency Those scores are weighted (example Grok gave) 40% relevance 30% quality 20% engagement 10% recency The scores combine into an overall ranking that decides what shows up in the feed.
And NO , they will not show you your score. That IS the tier system. They just call it “personalization.” Low score? You’re buried. High score? You’re boosted. Exactly the behavior creators have been seeing for months. So when people ask, “Are we being scored?” The answer- straight from X’s own AI is… YES. We are being scored. And that score dictates our reach.

When a product is free, you are the product.
Elon Musk is, at least ultimately, the one doing this, no?
CEO’s rarely know what’s happening inside their singular companies.
Now imagine musk with a multiplicity of companies...............
Surely Musk now knows about this.

Anybody know anything about this Jett Cross guy?
Is he clickbait or is he someone we should listen to?
I don’t know, and don’t call me Shirley............That’s my uncle’s name..............
Lol so funny
Bkmk
I use X a lot but I don’t pay for it. No blue check. I couldn’t care about rank, followers or visibility.
I love to make fun of the democrat politicians who rant, cry and lie about Trump. It’s insane but fun to put them in their place.
They probably don’t see, but I don’t care...
Who previously had been... at Meta, wasn't it?
Slo mo suicide for X…
The Internet and Social Media:
It you get something for free, then YOU are the product. You are working FOR THEM.
How difficult is this concept for people to understand?
Does Musk know?
No, but he lived near there!............
My uncle’s middle name was ‘Wayne’....He went by that for some odd reason...........
“Wayne” and “Lee” are the classic serial killer middle names. :P
