When a product is free, you are the product.

Elon Musk is, at least ultimately, the one doing this, no?

Anybody know anything about this Jett Cross guy?

Is he clickbait or is he someone we should listen to?

I use X a lot but I don’t pay for it. No blue check. I couldn’t care about rank, followers or visibility.

I love to make fun of the democrat politicians who rant, cry and lie about Trump. It’s insane but fun to put them in their place.

They probably don’t see, but I don’t care...

What was that woman's name again, who was put in charge of X?

Who previously had been... at Meta, wasn't it?

The Internet and Social Media:

It you get something for free, then YOU are the product. You are working FOR THEM.

How difficult is this concept for people to understand?

“It’s being scored, tiered, and throttled behind your back.”

I assume this is true of all internet sites. It was true of newspapers before the internet ever existed. For example, in Chicago newspapers events East of the Chicago River were news worthy. Events in Bungalow neighborhoods were not newsworthy. Wikipedia notoriously is biased about IT software and hardware and IT companies. Chrome is biased in both logical and illogical ways. And acronym like DCS has many meanings. I search for DCS Department of Community Supervision and get 2 results relevant to what I asked for and a dozen results irrelevant to what I asked for. But Chrome does not returned “Child Services” as an option yet that is the closest relevant to “Community Services”.

AI seems even less intelligent than the old search engines.
