There is no such thing as an 'EXTINCT' volcano.............
At all.
Up to 15 KM...or over 9 miles.
That’ll allow it to go worldwide depending on the amount.
There is also no such thing as a “super” volcano.
Wasn’t Tambora a super volcano?
Definitely global climate change. Call Greta. Tell her to put some green dye in that.
Wonder what effect this will have on the Houtis?
Gotta be due to climate change or we cut off their AID funding that kept the volcano quiet.
They will have to wear burkas..............
There is no such thing as an ‘EXTINCT’ volcano.............
********
Looks like ‘squat and poop’ is still around also.
That’s Haile Selassie!
LOL!....Didn’t notice that!..............🙄
Rolling over in his grave!................
Westerlies picked up the plume but it dissipated by the time it reached the Himalayas.
It’s effect still lingers for a long time................
Unless we have an eruption and the result is a summer without a summer event again causing world famine, war, political chaos.......that was probably a 6 or 7 on the scale.....
We don’t need a new eruption like 536AD
IT WILL happen again.
There is no such thing as a “super” volcano.
Ask anyone who is in the study of volcanos.
Well there goes all our hard work cutting emissions in the US and UK! 🤷🏼♀️
One of the most deadly volcanos in history was a VEI 4.
Late 1700s. Laki, in Iceland.
Three factors determine the lethality of an eruption. Explosivity, amount and type ejected, and duration.
News for people here. We are still in the midst of the after effects of the Tonga event. That’ll last another few years if, there isnt another mass ejecting event that blows through the tropopause and into the upper atmosphere.
Anywhere from 20 to 40, or more, volcanic eruptions are ongoing at one time worldwide.
Without them, earth ceases to exsist.
With a hyper eruption event, earth as we know it, ceases to exsist.
There is also no such thing as a “super” volcano.
Study Yellowstone.
