WASHINGTON — America’s largest teachers’ union accused Republicans of promoting “racist and transphobic troupes” in teaching materials for an upcoming training program, according to documents obtained by a conservative activist group.
The National Education Association is hosting a training from Dec. 2-4 at an undisclosed location called “Advancing LGBTQ+ Justice and Transgender Advocacy” aimed at dismantling “strategic racism and transphobia,” the group Defending Education uncovered.
The group released information on the training that is targeted for union staff and teams as part of the NEA UniServ and Organizing Training Program 2025–2026.
Sessions will be aimed at “dismantling systems of privilege and oppression as it relates to LGBTQ+ educators and students” and “deepen[ing] skills and strategies to confront implicit bias, micro-aggressions and stereotypes,” according to the materials.
Republicans are characterized as using an “arsenal of racist dog whistles,’ according to training materials. Participants are instructed how to evoke a “Race Class Gender Narrative” to push back.
“Over the last ten years, Republicans in state legislatures have increasingly turned to anti-transgender rhetoric and legislation as a powerful complement to their arsenal of racist dog whistles used to whip up fear and consolidate power,” the NEA training packet of materials state, adding “they have paired these attacks with fear-mongering about Critical Race Theory, mobilizing their base with a potent mix of racist and transphobic tropes.”

I am not against teachers who have to be part of the union to work. They have to work, and are often members against their will. I have personally known some of these people.
That said, I regard teachers who are enthusiastic about the unions and involved with the unions to be enemies of the well-being of this country, indifferent to children at best, and hostile to them at worst, and I believe those people should not be allowed to be part of teaching children.
Here’s hoping some inquisitive people track down whether school district tax money is used to send any staff to this indoctrination/struggle session. Perhaps it could blow up in their face like that Chicago PS travel cost audit that found wild spending outside the established travel guidelines.
They should not get any taxpayer funding. Let them get their funding from China or Russia.

If you’ve ever seen Becky Pringleberry and Randi Whineratface rant and rave then you know why Teachers unions have miserably failed our kids. Both of those losers draw about a half a meg a year salary to puke out political bull shit.
