More than a third of Americans who were vaccinated against COVID-19 say they had side effects from the shot, and nearly half suspect the vaccines killed many patients,
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 68% of American Adults say they got a COVID-19 vaccination, and a majority (60%) of vaccinated adults report no side effects from the vaccine. However, 26% say they had minor side effects and 10% reported major side effects from the vaccine. Based on a U.S. adult population of 258 million, this would mean 63 million had at least some side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine, including more than 17 million who experienced major side effects. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Among all American Adults (including those who didn’t get vaccinated against COVID-19), 46% believe it is likely that side effects of COVID-19 vaccines have caused a significant number of unexplained deaths – down from 55% in September 2024 – including 25% who say it’s Very Likely. Forty-four percent (44%) now don’t think a significant number of deaths have been caused by vaccine side effects, including 20% who believe it’s Not At All Likely. Another 12% are not sure.
The survey of 1,292 American Adults was conducted on November 10-12, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
Those who didn’t get the COVID-19 vaccine are more likely to suspect it had deadly side effects. Seventy percent (70%) of those who weren’t vaccinated, compared to 36% of those who did get the shot, consider it at least somewhat likely that side effects of COVID-19 vaccines have caused a significant number of unexplained deaths.
Among those who were vaccinated, 85% of those who reported major side effects think it’s at least somewhat likely that COVID-19 vaccines caused a significant number of deaths. By comparison, 69% of those who reported no side effects from the vaccine consider it unlikely that COVID-19 vaccines caused a significant number of deaths.
Slightly more men (72%) than women (66%) got vaccinated against COVID-19 during the pandemic, and more men (12%) than women (8%) report experiencing major side effects from the shot. However, more women (49%) than men (43%) consider it at least somewhat likely that side effects of COVID-19 vaccines have caused a significant number of unexplained deaths.
Older voters are most likely to have been vaccinated against COVID-19 during the pandemic, and less likely to say they experienced side effects. Twenty-two percent (22%) of men under 40 say they experienced major side effects from the vaccine, compared to just seven percent (7%) of women 40 and older.
Forty-two percent (42%) of whites, 46% of blacks, 53% of Hispanics and 63% of other minorities believe it is at least somewhat likely that side effects of COVID-19 vaccines have caused a significant number of unexplained deaths. Hispanics are most likely to have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine during the pandemic, and also most likely to report having experienced major side effects from the shot.
Fifty-seven percent (57%) of Americans with annual incomes between $30,000-$50,000 say it’s likelythat COVID-19 vaccines caused many deaths, compared to just 36% of those with annual incomes over $200,000 who say the same.
The cost of living – particularly higher grocery prices – continues to worry most Americans.

I was coerced into taking the shot if I wanted to have 2021 Thanksgiving Dinner with my partner’s family and their new baby. My partner took Moderna and I had the 2 J&J shots to avoid the mRNA new technology. In late 2001 I had optimum Vitamin D levels according to Kaiser Permanent test. In late 2002 I was insufficient in Vitamin D after worrying about my partner, brother, and son, who were all dealing with cancer in the fall of 2022. I had put on weight from worry and nervous nibbling, and had a BMI of 27,5. I then read an article, posted by ConservativeMind at his medical ping list, saying that if your BMI was above 25, your body tended to put the Vitamin D in the fat rather than circulate it in the blood to feed the whole body. A week or two later my partner was babysitting his toddler grandson who had a cold. He brought the cold home and we both were sick for 3 1/2 months with severe coughing.
We were subsequently sick 5 or 6 more times with illness of a week to a month. Further articles on Covid problems indicated that all 3 vaccines had an issue related to the “spike protein”, rather than the mRNA factor which my J&J did not have. Our illness pattern was comparable up to Spring 2025. Then I read about the use of several supplements to rid the body of spike protein, I bought them and we started taking them immediately late spring, and we have not been sick since.
We had not had more than one memorable illness from the beginning of this century to January 2023. I believe it was our vaccines that did it by damaging our IgG immune system. My brother who was recovering nicely from metastatic liver cancer took his 4th Covid shot, when I called him two weeks later he was now on a rapid glide path to death, with very nasty chemo and a $20,000 drug he was getting from a study. Unfortunately, I had not read the small study describing how Covid shots damage or severely damage the IgG immune system in time to warn him.
I hope that RFKJ is having that IgG study repeated on a much larger scale. Sadly my partner still asks me if I want another Covid shot, and I think he still takes them. The one serious argument in our life, sadly I have to tell him “hell no” I put my energy into eating carefully, and taking helpful supplements and he does take the supplement packets I prepare for him. His cancer seems to be completely healed, and he is tested regularly.
I was a near total basket case for 2 months after the 2nd Pfizer shot.
Finally cleared up and back to normal.
The clown 🤡🤡🤡 show never
stopped with those three
They ALL KNEW about Fauci
and the Gain of Function
and yet they pretended it
was just a disease and wanted
us to take The Death ☠️ Jab
I took the J&J because my daughter did. She had a terrible reaction, as did I. I have had shingles recently, and was told NOT to take the shingrix, lest I set my self up for a scorching case of Guillane Barre.
My daughter is in her early 20s and has an irregular ‘special lady time’ ever since.
We regret taking this thing.
Mistype. In 2022 I was insufficient, not 2002.
In late 2021 I had optimum Vitamin D levels. That was the first year KP did this as a routine test.
Our close friend got her semi-annual mammogram in 2021 and, as usual, got a clean bill of health. But a few months later she had to get the vax to get into the hospital where she had admitted her dad. a month later she had a retina separate. She got it fixed and a few months later felt a pain in her chest. Stage four breast cancer. She had her breasts removed.
She died of cancer a year and a month ago.
She stayed with us for two weeks before she died. She was getting noticeably worse by the day. The speed was shocking. I found out about “turbo cancer” AFTER she died when I did some research.
My wife and I refused the shot for one simple reason: we considered all of them to be untested drugs and there was no way we were using our bodies as beta testers. Full stop.
When I heard my small city was having hearings on Covid, I sent them information which I doubt received useful attention. This was in 2021 and I warned about the importance of taking Vitamin D, Quercetin and Zinc for immune enhancement. I also warned about common/not rare genetic blood diseases, like Sickle Cell, and Lyden V. Based on a statistical analysis I suggested that as many as 35,000 people in our city might benefit from staying more than 15 minutes after the vax, to avoid bad symptoms while traveling home.
If you are Negro and have one gene (Sickle trait), or two gene (Sickle Cell Disease) you are probably more prone to some reaction issues. The Lyden V gene is more common in white people. A friend with Lyden V had a very strong bad reaction to his vax, which was why I thought to send this info to my city representatives. He and his wife decided to use IVF to select an embryo to implant that did not have Lyden V.
If you had a severe reaction to the vax, you might want to check to see if you have one of these or some other genetic difference that makes you more susceptible to vaccine problems. I made a point of taking my regular supplements plus 500 mg. Quercetin and 50 mg. zinc a few days before and a week after my J&J shots. I had no swelling, heating up or lasting discomfort in my arm or elsewhere with either shot.
I am so sorry to hear about your friend and her suffering. I recently lost my best daily chat friend to a rare cancer. She had started taking some supplements I had recommended, and she had studied a bit on line, along with her chemo and seemed to be doing better. Then one day she fainted in her doctor’s office and was hospitalized immediately. They never allowed her to have her supplements and she steadily got worse and died after a month or more.
If you take supplements be sure to get a legal paper saying the doctors and hospital MUST allow you to do what you want with regard to vitamins, minerals, and supplements.
The clot shot and cancer connection has been documented at our local hospital.
We’re both over 71 and, although very healthy, are not the least bit afraid to die at any time. To live is Christ and to die is gain. -— the apostle Paul
If one of us gets cancer, well, nobody lives forever. The Lord will take us in his time. We ain’t doin’ no “AMA approved” treatments.
I’m a 74 year old pureblood and very happy that I didn’t get the jab.
It would make sense, I have “dark German” in me on my mother’s side. I’m the whitest white girl you’ve ever seen — but my hair dreds, I tan and my grandmother (a good german girl from Ohio) came from Baden Baden and was often mistaken for being Hatian in Ft. Lauderdale (despite having blue eyes.)
I still remember a person who drove up to the fire station and was eager know how soon she could get her next shot because she was behind schedule due to having such a bad reaction to the first one. Hooray the doctors that were treating her finally said she could get the next shot. I had to bite my tongue.
We were talking one day and tetanus came up. There was well over 100 combined years of paramedic experience. Has anyone ever treated or even heard of a case of tetanus? No. I finally found an ER nurse who was near retirement age who said she had seen one.
People think that a rusty nail somehow is just oozing tetanus. It actually has to have soil from an area where cows who were infected with tetanus on the nail. What are the odds of that?
I looked it up and the rollout of the tetanus shot reduced the number of cases per year in the US from something like 30 to about 15.
Reading the first sentence (but not paying attention to the “now 71” part, I already KNEW who the poster was, but I did finish reading your post (thankfully)..
I am sure you can guess who I thought it was (hint, in his 80s, thinks his race is the smartest in the world... oh, he loves cruises).
I see that the jab-pushers haven’t shown up yet... hmm.. crickets.
Starting with how it's NOT a vaccine, regardless of what the CDC and their globalist cohorts changed their definition to, and how they're "the effects", not "the side-effects" because that's all they do. O M M O I R C O R N O I N C proved it.
If by Stupidity you mean trusting your government officials and Health Care experts, yes you're correct.
