The real questions should be what gives the US gov the right to charge someone with a crime they haven’t committed and even if they did it would’ve been outside the US jurisdiction. I can see if the foreign country asked for extradition. They sound crazy, a mental institution would be the place to start.

They really did not do their homework very well. Haitian women carry full auto weapons and have lead revolutions in the past. Not sure this take over would have been what they thought. The authorities probably just saved their lives...

Reminds me of the cult that took over a small town in Oregon. Then they wanted to take over the county. They recruited homeless people from all over the country to move to their town where they would be given housing, food, etc.
Oregon’s loose election laws allowed them to register with no I.D., no proof of living there for xx days, and up until voting day iirc.
And lots of sex going on in the cult.
