Glock discontinued all of its current models and rolled out the Model V. This was supposed to be a design that was more difficult to outfit with an aftermarket full-auto switch.
The move came as pressure mounted on the Austria-based company to change its designs because of this.
They resisted for a bit, got some lawsuits thrown their way, saw their products banned in some states, and finally bent the knee.
Sure, it's just a matter of time before someone figures it out, but the new model is so new and so modified that I'm sure it'll take months, if not years for someone to do...what was that?

It looks legit. Glock added a couple of metal rails to keep the switch sear from reaching the striker release. They better post shows the slide off and how the switch is installed and where the sear is you can see the risks and where they were dremmeled down easy peasy. Slight mod to the switch and take a harbor freight grade tool to the idiot rails and Bob’s your uncle.
“Can’t stop the signal Mel”- Mr Universe
Seems like a pretty dumb hack. What are you going to do with it? Shoot up the ceiling?
Agreed, full auto on a pistol is flashy but pointless. Full auto on anything except something like the squad automatic or M2 is just wasting ammo. Spray and pray
If there is a will there is a way
Simple fix: if found in possession of a Glock switch, immediate execution by firing squad. No age limit.
Word will get around the ‘hood quick, and the hoodrats will avoid them like the plague. And we’ll exterminate several of the stupid ones along the way. Total win.
Or you can repeal the National Firearms Act and let Americans own Glock 18s with little hassle
Glock has been (or had been?) manufacturing a select-fire (semi/full auto) Model 18 9mm since 1986.
A person with a devious mechanically oriented mind, a lathe, a small mill and a few other tools can make or modify just about anything. What did they expect?
I’m not in love with full auto anything due to muzzle rise. I think that’s why the M16 went from full auto to a 3 round burst. Anything over three rounds and you will be bird hunting.
I have a semi auto 12 gauge with a 20 round drum. For fun I’ve fired the thing as fast as I can pull the trigger. I cannot hold the muzzle down. At about the 20th round the barrel as over 30 degrees pointing upwards.
repeal ‘gun control’ nationwide (including Communizied states like NY and Mass and Californication).
...”shall not be infringed...”
In Memphis a guy was caught stealing cars and in possession of a Glock modified with a switch.
The judge and prosecutor determined he didndu nuffin and let him go without handing him over to the Feds for having a full automatic gun.
About a week later he shot and killed a policeman.
It does appear to be true.
"The Mad Lads Already Did It" (New Glock converted to full auto) - Brandon Herrera via YouTube

One commenter on to Brandon Herrera's video pointed out Glock benefits from this legally. It arguably removes their liability for the original design.
"See. There wasn't anything wrong with our initial design. Someone can even modify a safe design - and did. We're not liable AND the State of California needs to remove the ban on our original design."
That would require a Republican president and Republican control of congress to do.
But almost everyone found in possession of these Glock switches are black males and Soros-bought DAs don't want to charge them with serious crimes.
So instead, they sue Glock.
That's what I would do with a full auto Glock if I had one. So it's certainly a good thing I don't have one or I just wouldn't even be able to restrain myself...

Don't discredit it so readily. A machine pistol, while it has limited applications, gets the job done up close.
In addition, companies make drop-in carbine conversions for Glock handguns. Note the barrel length:
Bkmk
There are times for pray and spray, but I would say very little.
Makes a great show for the gang bangers I, for one, rarely used the 3 shot option and relied on semi. When you run out of ammo that’s when things get difficult
Let the squad automatic keep their heads down😂
More to the point, did Glock really think this was going to solve the “problem”?
If someone wants to put a v-8 where a 4 cylinder fits they will find a way😂
