Agreed, full auto on a pistol is flashy but pointless. Full auto on anything except something like the squad automatic or M2 is just wasting ammo. Spray and pray

Drive around with it in my car, just itching to be offended by someone cutting me off or something so I can whup it out with my sideways grip and go spraying 9mm bullets in about a 270 degree circle with it but not land a single one of them near my intended, and presumably totally innocent victim.

That's what I would do with a full auto Glock if I had one. So it's certainly a good thing I don't have one or I just wouldn't even be able to restrain myself...

Don't discredit it so readily. A machine pistol, while it has limited applications, gets the job done up close.

In addition, companies make drop-in carbine conversions for Glock handguns. Note the barrel length:

They hold it sideways. More likely to shoot up their buddy standing beside them.
