While the official attendance data still needs to be finalized and approved by the state, CMS officials told Queen City News that approximately 20,935 students missed school on Monday.

This makes up around 15 percent of the students enrolled in the school district, which is the 16th largest in the country.

Many of these children either don’t speak English very well or at all, forcing additional spending to teach them English or hire bi-lingual teachers. They are doubtless charming and harmless, but expensive.

We need to get Plyler v. Doe (1982) over turned, illegal alien children should be schooled with TAX payer money. Let the charity's pick up that tab while we are hunting them down to deport them.
