Gabby Giffords’ gun control group, Giffords, is breaking out the adjectives against national reciprocity, describing it as a “dangerous bill” which “extremists” are pushing in order to carry “hidden guns.”
They posted to X: “Extremists in Congress are pushing for a concealed carry mandate, which would allow people to carry hidden guns nationwide—regardless of state laws. Now that the government has reopened, they can vote on this dangerous bill any day. They must vote NO.”
Giffords is wringing hands over the prospect of national reciprocity for concealed carry. The reciprocity is contained in Rep. Richard Hudson’s (R) H.R. 38, titled “Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.”

There will be many instances of LEO in combative states dragging CCW holders from out of state into their courts.
It should have always been that way...And I believe that is what the Federal Constitution says...”The right to Bear Arms...means throughout the nation”.

Libtards usually love the 14th amendment and its’ equal protection of the law...like say when they want to force gay marriage on all the states. Why don’t they like the 14th in this issue?
Constitutional carry is working fine in every state that has it. There’s not one good reason to deny interstate carry by reasonable citizens.
I haven’t read this bill. How does it deal with the case of a resident of a state that already has constitutional carry? Vermont, for example, does not even issue CCW permits. Arizona, where I live, issues permits but they are not required for concealed carry within Arizona.
If H.R. 38 actually calls for concealed carry to be allowed throughout the entire nation without any permit required, I’m in favor. What I really don’t want is for a federal CCW permit system to be established. Instant de facto gun owner registration.
Kansas concealed carry permits are recognized by approximately 39 states, including Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. It is crucial to verify the laws of the specific state you plan to visit, as restrictions and age limits may still apply.
