BOSTON (AP) — It wasn’t a croc — there really was an alligator on the loose in Boston.
And the story of the city’s slithering saurian appears to have a happy ending. The small alligator, spotted along the Charles River in Boston multiple times this week, has been rescued and delivered to safety, wildlife officials in Massachusetts said Thursday.

Well at least the gator was rescued before the Boston winter cold.
Maybe he loves that muddy water.
That’s one silver lining.
By its smile, maybe it came from the UK?

Gators don’t slither. They lie in wait knock you over with their tail and drag you into the murky depths.

You haven’t lived until you’ve stood wearing sandals, in a tiny cramped college utility room, looking at a Dumerils Boa you want to buy, while a 5’ alligator is flopping in and out of its kiddy pool and scrambling wildly over your nearly bare feet.
