The FBI was called Sunday after a loaded gun magazine was found on a Frontier Airlines plane at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

Just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday, officers assigned to the airport responded to a call about a gun magazine found near Frontier Airlines Gate C-6 in Concourse C, according to a news release from the Atlanta Police Department (APD).

A passenger on the Airbus A320 aircraft discovered what appeared to be a loaded magazine containing ten hollow point rounds near seat 7A, according to the release.

Police said the magazine, marked with the initials "K H," was found during boarding for a turnaround return flight to Cincinnati.

This is a great reason to create a government agency to screen passengers before boarding the plane!.....they could call it the "Transportation Security Administration"......or TSA for short!

Good grief.....somebody's azz needs firing. SMH

The airline says an LEO that was on a previous flight left it. Not 100% sure it is true but possible. Maybe it was a certain Capitol Police officer that had a history of leaving his gun in bathrooms.

Might not have been a passenger that put it there.

Most likely from a LEO, such as an Air Marshal. Not good tho.

If so, they should be ceramic rounds.

I would guess it’s an Air Marshall’s spare mag.

I believe they they use special/ Frangible ammo. Should be pretty easy to check and verify that.

Was the magazine found near Gate C-6 or Seat 7A?
FOX needs to get some other AI to write its news stories.

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

I would agree with that hypothesis (LEO passenger).

I am unaware of the rules, however, and too busy to expend time on the topic.

IF the mag had genuine hollow point cartridges, it was not property of an Air Marshall. They commonly use frangible bullets when on aircraft so as to reduce the possibility of damage to the airframe structure if they miss their target.

“Frangible bullets are intended to disintegrate into tiny particles upon target impact to minimize their penetration of other objects. Small particles are slowed more rapidly by air resistance, and are less likely to cause injury or damage to persons and objects distant from the point of bullet impact. Most frangible bullets are subject to brittle failure upon striking a hard target....”
