It would seem four years is a long time for a lap record to stand.

I thought this was about a boat cruise.

Last nite on Gutfeld he spent a whole 15 minute segment on the subject he can’t seem to get away from. It’s the subject of poop. Some judge publicly taking a dump. He’s getting weird.

MSC is the race sponsor, as are Rolex, Lenovo and others.

I gave up on Mutfeld after a year of watching; it got too scatological for me. There’s much better stuff on TV, IMO. He’s far from funny, as he was in the beginning.

It’s twisty and windy, for sure. Makes for a lot of good viewing points, from grandstands.

Jose Carlos Pace, whose name is on the circuit, had his spot in the mausoleum often vandalised. The Brasilian Automobile Confederation (CBA) asked his remains be moved to his statue at the circuit, which happened in August 2024.

At the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, he is buried at his statue. The ceremony was attended by his widow and children, along with their children. January 26 will mark 51 years since he won his one F1 race there, when it was a five-mile circuit.

The circuit prior to 1990. It was renamed for the 1975 Grande Premio do Brasil winner in 1977 after his death in a plane crash.

Hambone already has got his butt in a crack. He violated a double-yellow in sprint qualies and his time for that lap was deleted. But that wasn’t his fastest lap so he still starts where his fastest lap would’ve put him, which was 11th.

But the stewards did give him a reprimand. And since he still has his panties in a bunch over his mistreatment at MXC, I’m sure he’s about to have kittens. He’s still running his motor mouth over the “lack of transpacency” in his MXC punishment, still kvetching that the FIA needs to change its procedures, even though the telemetry data also shows he was in the wrong. But right now I think he’s just a whisker from playing the race card again.

You give him/her too much credit (it is a rather small planet).

Starting Grid for the only F1 circuit with its own ghetto:

Position Driver Team
1. Lando Norris McLaren
2. Kimi Antonelli Mercedes
3. Charles Leclerc Ferrari
4. Oscar Piastri McLaren
5. Isack Hadjar Racing Bulls
6. George Russell Mercedes
7. Liam Lawson Racing Bulls
8. Oliver Bearman Haas
9. Pierre Gasly Alpine
10. Nico Hulkenberg Stake
11. Fernando Alonso Aston Martin
12. Alex Albon Williams
13. Lewis Hamilton Ferrari
14. Lance Stroll Aston Martin
15. Carlos Sainz Williams
16. Max Verstappen Red Bull
17. Esteban Ocon Haas
18. Franco Colapinto Alpine
19. Yuki Tsunoda Red Bull
20. Gabriel Bortoleto Stake

Ferrari obviously are rayciss. There's no other conceivable reason why Leclerc (who is White) should be 10 places ahead of Hambone (who isn't) on the starting grid when they both (allegedly) are in the same car. I smell Uncle-Tom-foolery afoot!

RBR is considering breaking parc fermé and putting Max's car back in the sprint set-up (or something near it), in which case he's have to start from pit lane.

I'd bet they'll do it if there's rain forecast as the start of the race approaches. With a couple or three conveniently-timed safety cars, Max could become the first driver ever to win a race starting from pit lane.

I recall Senna starting Monaco from last place and in the rain he passed everyone but A.Prost before the French head of the FIA called the race...

The Max situation is interesting.

Thanks!
