Democrats on Track to Destroy the Union Once Again
American Thinker ^ | 6 Nov, 2025 | Eric Utter

Reports of Democrats’ death have been greatly exaggerated.

As it turns out, it is the republic that is on life support. The recent elections have made that abundantly clear.

To wit:

Maine Democrat (and now Senator) Graham Platner won his race despite revelations that he has an actual Nazi tattoo, the “Totenkopf” (Death’s head), adorning his body.

And a history of shameful online comments.

Not only did Platner suffer no meaningful political consequences, he claims that his candidacy was "strengthened" by the disturbing revelations. He also stated that he found it “amusing” that some in the media thought his campaign was collapsing due to these stains on his character, when, he said, “In many ways, it’s strengthened us.”

Turns out, Democrats aren’t particularly antifascist, are they? But perhaps the fact that his policy prescriptions are now right out of the communist playbook appealed to many. After all, that seems to be the flavor of the month, especially in the case of our academically indoctrinated youth.

Former Virginia Del. Jay Jones won his bid to become Virginia’s attorney general — the state’s chief law enforcement officer — despite the fact that he once wished for the death of a Republican politician … and mused about the death of that person’s children, as well.

What difference does a few texted death threats make? Who among hasn’t taken to social media to wish for the death of someone and their children? Let those without sin cast the first stone, right?

The disappointing elections were in blue,, or bright blue states. None of this should be a surprise.

I too was hoping for better. But, alas.

In blue cities and states?

Are we really surprised at this outcome?

The left is making a really big deal about this.....bigger than it is IMO, because they’re trying to convince people that they are still relevant......I for one ain’t buying it.

That’s right.

Republicans had better not fall into complacency.

If the Dems take over again, we are going to regret it because they wil show us no mercy.

It’s not surprising the Dems won in blue states, but the large victory margins were disturbing. All the pollsters, even the good ones (Trafalgar, etc.) had the NJ race as a dead heat.

Like most things in the public arena these days filled with influence psy-ops from every source ranging from the media, press, advertisers, medical and pharmacy industry, and government, nothing is as it seems. There are no elections anymore in American society. There are media produced announcements of what is best for you based on behind the curtain charades experts.

The first part of the post is a prediction.

The primary election for the US senate senate will be held in June 2026. The election on November 4, 2025 included two state-wide referendums and local city council races.

One petition booth was set up at various polling places in Maine: a state-wide vote to limit the participation in women's sports to individuals born as women. Sex not gender determines who plays where

The Communist win in NYC is a going to be a wake up call for some.

Mandami is going to wreck NYC and it is going to be deliberate because they are doing all they can 24/7/365 to take down the United States.

Good question. Resting on laurels, perhaps?

The Mamdani win, though, was made possible by anti-Trump sentiment that is more significant than we might want to believe. Leftist have shifted to high gear, and are getting many, many people to join them. They are quite literally on the warpath, killing or trying to kill people, and this is to some irresistible; the same warped mass-psychosis that led them to demand ‘anti-vaxers’ be shipped off to concentration camps. Many people, the younger generation in particular, are also feeling hopeless in a world in which the middle class dream has vaporized. They’re angry, and *quite* motivated.

We don’t pile on when we got em’ on the run. We just don’t. The left lives for this. Too many will just let Trump deal with it. There’s gonna be a big vacuum when he’s gone. Who’s gonna fill it?

It may take different forms (people electing jihadists/communists; people not showing up to prevent jihadists/communists from being elected), but it's all just people doing bad things to themselves.

This used to be called "sadomasochistic behavior", today it's called an "election".

they’re trying to convince people that they are still relevant..

Regardless, liberals are satanic and are persistent. Conservatives win, and relax. Liberals win, and keep fighting. Liberals lose, and fight harder.

There's a lesson there, but we can't seem to get it.

1 Peter 5:8: ... your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Liberals are like their father, the devil.

Sounds more than a little like islam does it not?

Graham Platner is not a senator? He won the democrat nomination to face off against Susan Collins next year.

"Reports of Democrats’ death have been greatly exaggerated."

Many of us here have been saying that. There's a meme from MTG that sums it up nicely:

Agreed, and yes, I wonder as well. Some have said the dems will run Mamdani for President, and I would not be in the least surprised.

The enemy of your enemy is your friend.

And

Divide and conquer.

Politics is warfare where hopefully people don’t kill each other as often has been the case.

It’s supposed to be like a legal system a battle between ideas and in a democracy, allegedly the majority chooses the direction. Even in a theocracy, dictatorship, or Kingdom you still have political processes at work.

Every society sets rules on where the limits/boundaries are.

In every system, people are always trying to stretch the limits of these boundaries to get some advantage for their side.

The danger of course is, when people stretch these boundaries they often create civil unrest, cause for physical violence and the destruction of property. That’s why those rules/boundaries are usually there, to prevent that.

The Democrats for as long as I can remember (my political memory goes back to 1980), have always been the party to have an advantage in playing the divide and conquer as well as the enemy of your enemy is your friend. They have always been the party sewing the seeds of civil unrest through proxies and with plausible deniability of course.

J6 is a rare exception and frankly far over rated. It was itself a largely staged political spectacle and opportune chance to suppress all major opposition.

Since the Vietnam war, may if be the use of race, socio-economics (commies), feminists, anarchists, violent environmental groups like ALF (those exist), it’s ALWAYS the Democrats that have loose ties connecting them to these groups and organizations, even if the FBI declares ANTIFA isn’t an organization (Wray told us that he was either weak or a willing participant in the political games at that point).
