They have been involved with a union dispute. People are blaming union for 48k workers laid off. Teamsters say they are keeping a close eye on investigation.

Hmmm. IIRC, there was a major plane crash in Chicago circa 1979 that was also a DC-10 where the left engine fell off.
That one was blamed on faulty maintenance as the AA people tried to take a short cut with engine removal and replacement.
